If you are a member of this group and have written a fictional book you feel may be of interest to other members of this group, please write something about it here, rather than creating a new thread for it.

My name is HK Savage (aka Books4life) and I'm new to the group. I wanted to share a link to my upcoming paperback release of "The Path". RT Book Reviews gave it 4 out of 4 stars. Here is a description and you can find a link to my guest blog on RomCon (they invited me after reading the stellar review) below.http://www.romconinc.com/index.php?op...
Magick is real. And there is a secret world complete with its own agency, Veritas, to control those who would wield their power over “regulars”, or threaten the secrecy that keeps them all safe from the persecution that nearly destroyed them. For Cassie, a mixed blood witch, it’s the only world she’s ever known though she’s never embraced her role as agent for Veritas. For Drew, a witch born to a non-magickal family, it answers so many of his questions. It is also the cause of so much loss and pain. And now, as he and Cassie attempt to find his missing brother, rumored to be working with a rogue witch and cult leader, it threatens to take the last of his family. Or will magick save it?
Stephen wrote:"This is carried over from the, Introduce Yourself Thread where the discussion started but didn’t seem appropriate to the threads theme then the thread I started Pagan Authors Discuss Their Own Work because I hadn’t doped out how the threads work around these parts, sorry. In any case her we go again.
HY H.K and all. Yup I'm an author. I have three books out and a forth coming out it March. I'll post the links and some info. Hopefully it will work.
Here goes the links.
Tinker's Plague : A post-apocalyptic medical, political thriller. The world itself is set as a religious mosaic though the lead Characters are both Pagan, though it isn’t a major element in the book.
Slaves of Love : A futuristic detective story with erotic content. Religion plays little or no role in the book.
The Hollow Curse : A paranormal / new age, (weird term at the best of times) love story. The leads both follow a druidic path and have been cursed in a previous life to be forever separated by a gulf of years and social norms until they live a life and raise a child together. The book follow them through a series of past life regressions where they experience the curse being set and how it plays out over several lives. This is very Pagan and if I do say so myself very hot.
Finally coming in March, Nukekubi where in a Pagan wizard-priest must neutralise a Japanese goblin that is feasting on the people of present day Toronto Ontario. I just received a stellar review from Hot Book Reviews for this piece. It is probably the most Pagan of all my works but not in a preachy way. More it’s a back drop just taken for granted way.
Tinker's Plague/Slaves of Love/The Hollow Curse"
Stephen wrote:"I just got another stellar review for Slaves of Love and The Hollow Curse . The review is from Sweete Spot, who also posted an interview with me. If you have a moment check it out. As indicated above The Hollow Curse is a good Pagan read."
I've just posted a Hello! in the Introductions thread, but it looks as though I should post here too.I have two Pagan novels in print:
The Golden Web and its sequel,
Three Magic Women, and a Kindle book of short stories, many with a pagan theme,
Solstice.
Celtic Blood, inspired by MacBeth. On a dark Scottish nigh, with the moon full, mist-shrouds that reveal a landscape full of men who lived once and now are but shadows. Celtic Blood traces the journey of a 13th century member of clan MacAedh (the family now is known as MacKay, and an illustrious clan). Morgund is thirteen, and on the run from a king who would kill him. Morgund has a claim on Scotland's throne. His friend and only supporter Seward is known to have the second sight. Those who follow Wicca live, following their ancient ways, living amongst the night, performing their ancient rituals - seeing the future, and making it.
I've written a non fiction! Druidry and Meditation, including contentn on how to use mditation in ritual. It's published by the lovely Moon Books imprint at O Books.
I should add that on the cover for Druidry and Meditatioo, I'm Nimue Brown, not Bryn Colvin. (full name Brynneth Nimue Brown, different bits get used on different genres). Nimue does pagan writing and a webcomic, as Bryn I write smut - mostly for www.loveyoudivine.com I don't get online much because I live on a narrowboat, so please be patient with me if I seem slow to respond.
Hello Bryn: We do have a thread for non-fiction works where you can elaborate further on your writing < a href="http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6....
I wrote a book released in May 2011 called "Wiccan Shadows: Book One of the Wiccan Sisterhood". It is written under my birth name, Lori J. Schiele. It is a paranormal/mystery/romance about a Wiccan coven and shapeshifters. It can be purchased at Amazon.com (where excerpts can also be read), BN.com, Imajinnbooks.com and is available in print and e-format. Also has its own Facebook page if you are signed up for Facebook (more excerpts and list of awards won)
Hi all, just wanted to announce that my Pagan centric, paranormal detective story Nukekubi is available for pre-order from Dark Dragon Publishing: http://darkdragonpublishing.com .From ancient times nukekubi have haunted the land of Japan. Living as men by day, these beasts slip their heads free of their flesh at night and go in search of human prey. These hapless souls are driven into a terrified madness that results in their death.
Ray McAndrues, a modern-day, Egyptian path, Wizard-Priest, must neutralize a nukekubi that is feasting on the people of Toronto. He is aided by Cathy his friend with benefits who is also a Priestess of Bast, and Toshiro and Kunio, two, Japanese, martial artists who have made hunting nukekubi their lives' work.
As the quest plays out, questions arise. Who is hunting who? How can you slay the beast that stalks the night without slaying the man who walks the day? What is the strange, millennia-old connection that binds Ray to the beast, and will it help or hinder the quest?
Nukekubi is an exciting read filled with mysticism and spiritual understandings. – Sizzling Hot Book Reviews: http://www.sizzlinghotbooks.net/2012/...
The book will be available March 1, 2012

Thanks Kori, I can take credit for the story but the cover art is all Kari-Ann Anderson: www.kariannanderson.com and the cover design Evan Dales: www.wavstudios.ca .
I just clicked on the link you posted for Kari-Ann Anderson and wow! She does really creative work! I like the zebra centaur. Awesome stuff.
She does do some nice stuff. Actually, she has a pic that would match a short story I'm trying to market right now perfectly.
I have 2 children's books out on Amazon.com: The Heart Town Witch and Other Stories and the Tales of BunniHoTep, they are published under my birth name because they wouldn't take a pseudonym when I signed up. "Mary Beth Robb". They first is a collection of original nature and goddess stories meant to be bedtime tales and the other is a collection of the adventures of a re-discovered goddess who just happens to be a rabbit.

I just got another five star review for Nukekubi my paranormal, detective novel. This review is from Nora Chipley Barteau of Reviewers Helping Authors http://norachipleybarteau.blogspot.com/Quote “I was absolutely spellbound by this book and I applaud the imagination and creativity the author put in this book.”

Congratulations Stephen! I'll be getting to your book too when I get time to read again. :)
Marie, your book sounds interesting. I'm admittedly not much of a vampire buff, but I'm very much into ancient Greece, as well as the subject of reincarnation. Definitely will have to check it out! Thanks for sharing!
Hi All!My name is Juliana Loomer and I have written a novel that is about finding spiritual freedom and a home in ancient beliefs. Below is more information about it. Hope you can check it out and enjoy!
Child of the Jotun
"They say giants carved this land . . . In a cloistered Dominican convent in California, Sister Jennifer is informed by police that a terror from her past has been released from prison. Police assure her that she will be protected, but she knows the danger coming for her. Her prioress seeks a convent somewhere in the world to send the fearful nun for her safety. A convent in Norway answers the call.
In Norway, the Sister meets an eccentric man that sets off an internal conflict, but when the man, Torvør, begins to draw her emotions and ignite her independence, everything she has believed in is challenged. The ancient gods of the north have also observed her arrival, and their power pulls Jennifer from her safe life, closer to Torvør.
Can their friendship stop the tragic completion of an apocalyptic saga written by an Icelandic monk 1000 years ago? Or will the end come in a bargain to save her Sisters and friends from the wrath of the ancient gods?
Torvør knows the truth and has only a short time to convince the Sister that she is not a servant of God, but a god herself."

The premise certainly sounds intriguing Juliana. Perhaps we should enter it to be a group read sometime?
Hi all. The Morbid Seraphic anthology to which I contributed the story Better the Devil You Know – The story of a succubus with a difference, a Pagan wizard cop who has a few things to say about the battle cry “convert or die” and a deadly drug in a world where magic has strengthened to mythical levels, is now available.“Even the divine have a dark side…”
Take a journey into a world where the forgotten reign as King and Queen. Explore a “reality” where the divine give meaning and substance to the concept of IMMORTALITY. These menacing tales feature beings of divinity from angels, demons, gods, goddesses, to personifications of divine principals. No other worldly being is safe. The sparkly undead and wild shaggy dogs have no place in this anthology of dark proportions. ..
Can you handle it?
If you liked Nukekubi you’ll probably like Better the Devil You Know, so check it and my other works out on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=ntt_athr_...
Morbid Seraphic
The Golden Web and its sequel, Three Magic Women, are at last together as a Kindle book, but if you're tempted, don't buy just yet as I've a free promotion coming up very soon. I'll put another link in the Free Books thread when the promotion is live.

When she falls in love with the incredibly gorgeous Patrick, she's surprised to discover that he is a Witch. For a group of awesome Witches, check out, Five Sisters, which is about a cleaning and renovation company that also happen to be a coven of Witches and they are contracted to renovate the infamously haunted, Willcraft Manor. What surprises a Witch? Find out in, Five Sisters!

Hi all. I just wanted to announce that I have a short story in the Hot Shots Volume 3 Anthology now available. This one will melt your filling folks so eighteen and up and all that. For more check out: http://www.breathlesspress.com/index....Hot Shots Volume 3
I also want to mention that my story Three Parts Love features a Pagan couple and how they express their love in body mind and spirit with reference to the Lord and Lady and how we are all avatars of the god force and at no time is this more clear than when a man and a woman are joined in the bonds of love.
That said the story will still melt you fillings. :-)
Well, I've got three novels out on Kindle and Nook, Jolly Roger and Dragons, The Treasure of Dragon Island, and Faded Runes, Hungry Shadow. The first pair are pirate adventures, something like Edgar Rice Burroughs meets Rafael Sabatini. Good fun, but nothing particularly "Pagan" about them. Faded Runes, however...Set in the modern Colorado Rockies, we have Harry and Karoline Smythe, a married couple on a brief vacation to see an archeological wonder: A genuine Viking grave found outside an old mining town. An all-American Asatru couple, Harry and his wife are delighted to discover that they are sharing the local campground with a Kindred from Texas who are there for the same reason.
When one of the locals disappears, the strangers are the first suspects. When the man reappears and murders his entire family, it becomes a small media circus. There are more disappearances, more murders and a lot of local prejudice against the Pagans outsiders.
An ancient "troll" released after a thousand years entombed in a cave, the walking, giggling dead that this shadow commands and even a couple of visits from a one-eyed traveler who knows far more than any moral should. At the end, a handful of followers of the Old Ways face off against a threat that their spiritual ancestors faced ten centuries before, hoping to succeed where their predecessors failed in a final battle at the Worlds Highest Drive-In Theater.
There is humor and romance here, but also bloody horror and stubborn human bigotry. The draugar walk and slay at the command of a puppeteer that seems to be a hulking, misshapen shadow, yet can rend flesh from bone with a swipe of balck claws.
Hi all, I thought you might enjoy this interview of Yours Truly by Katie Uhlmann of the Katie Chats interviews on the Smithee TV in Toronto Ontario. : http://youtu.be/svPIEYUxdI8 It is mainstream but there is a bit about our team in it.Stephen B. Pearl
