Mike Rap | 2 comments Hello!

I read this Dick Francis Novel around the mid nineties so it's from before then obviously.

All I can really remember is it had a very James Bond, thriller style to it, with a latter part possibly happening in a cliff top type castle or similar.

In one scene the hero cuts the oxygen to a room (or aircraft) and almost suffocates himself and whoever else is with him.

He used the phrase "I'd have given good odds..." many times (it was written 1st person) although I guess DF possibly used this phrase in other novels??

I know, only 15 or so years ago and I can't remember the plot or any major story points, but I recall it being a rollocking good read and I'd love to read it again :)

Many thanks.
