Harry Potter discussion

OK, so this is like a random question but...I was reading the Sorcerer's Stone last night and I saw on the school suppy list that it said "One hat, for daywear". How come we never see them? I only saw them once, at the beginning of the year feast in the first movie.

Anyone know anything about the hats? J.K. Rowling

That was really kind of corny. I liked it though. It makes people smile at the end. But I guess people would lose the hats A LOT.

I think they only wear them for special occasions. Don't you think? That would make sense, bc it would incorperate the hats, and have Paige's comment make sense. Thoughts?

I'm kinda glad they lost the hats... thy're kinda lae in the extree, I kinda thought it was a little lae when i first read the book, before the movie even came out.

In Goblet of Fire, When Beaubaton(sorry for the spelling!) and Durmstrang arrive, McGonagall tells Ron to "Straighten his Hat". But that's all I know...
