Q&A with Sherry Gammon discussion

Hi. Well, I am the author Sherry Gammon of Unlovable. I have been writing for a number of years, starting in 6th grade with poetry. I find it a great way to "Deal" with things and "help me to put it all behind me". Tell me about yourself!

I am Cindy C Bennett, and happen to also be a fan of Sherry (as well as a friend, I hope :o)). I, too, have been writing all my life, but only first published a little over a year ago. I can't believe I waited so long! What an amazing ride it has been. My first book, Geek Girl, has been optioned by a publisher and will be re-released December 8. My second book, Heart on a Chain, is currently available. I have a third, as yet untitled book which I am hoping to publish in September.

This forum is a great thing, and I can hardly wait to get to know all of the others who have and will join this group!

My name is Michelle Roethig and I've fast become a fan of Sherry and her writing. I compeltely fell in love with the story and can't wait to read more from her!!

I have been a closet writer for sometime now and reading her debut novel gave me the inspiration to continue to write and develop my stories.

Hi everyone I'm Jenny and i absolutely loved Unlovable and cant wait to read more. I use to write a lot in middle school and High school (mostly poetry)to help me deal with the things happening in my life (teenage years can be hard) but since starting college and getting married i really haven't felt the need to write. now i just love to read and get lost in the different stories.

Wow, I just noticed that you were a member of this group. That's so crazy that you guys are friends because when I initially reviewed Unlovable I almost called it a cross between Cross My Heart by Katie Klein and Heart on a Chain. Are yall friends with her too. I'd like to imagine a little world where all of my favorite authors are BFF's who get together for book clubs, mimosas, and rock band.
Anyway...I loved Heart on a Chain Its in my pile of books to review; so I should have it up soon :-)

Heart on a Chain is really good! Make sure you have plenty of Kleenix nearby!
