Ummm, what about a one word contest. Like you come up with one word and everyone has to make a poem out of that word.

I feel like it shouldn't be so specific (colours or animals). I think it should be general ideas (seasons would work. Same with emotions-- which should not be 'love', because it's so cliched now.).

It's fine, Shay. Emotions are fine. Love is just a cliche, so it's repetitive. Colors are fine, but just things that are specific like a dog or a cat are hard to manipulate.

It seems a little kindergarten for me, dunno.

Or, we could get sorta abstractative (made up word, couldn't find one that fits what I mean)) and have everyone do one where the title starts with a certain letter (like, say, I or R).
