This is a massive debate, as some people love 'em, other hate 'em!

Personally, I don't mind them, but sometimes they get a little old...
ill be honest, vampire books are good, twilight was great but then again its crap as soon as you read vampire academy -top series that one btw :P- and compared to other vampire books twilight is nothing, but thats just my opinion
I really didn't think Vampire Academy was that great.
Rose annoys me.

im not a HUGE fan of them but my fav vamp books would be VA great books. She annoyed me to at some points but i still loved them
I love Darke Academy.
That's my favourite series.

heard of the Darke Academy, but never read them. Now, VA'sa REAL vamp book, Twilight just lowers the bar and to be honest, its insulting to all other vamps out there xD
There are three, the fourth is being written.
And I really didn't think VA was that brilliant.

aww, y not? maybe its different to a guy's POV :P
i have a few friends who are guys who like it and ones who dont, i guess its just based on what your really interested in
I think they are good but are getting a bit old now and i am getting more into the fantasy/Sy-Fy zone now. They were good when they were going, but now maybe need to move over.
And when they were not invading the classics. I saw the books 'Romeo and Juliet and Vampires' and 'Little Vampire Women' in the bookstore the other day and I'm like, "WTF?!"
Oh. Je vois... There are good vamp books though, right? Like the Vamp Acad series but I haven't read that one. My friends really like it.
I was a bit lazy to read it 'coz it has like, a hundred books. Hahaha. But I reaaallly want to read it.
*squeal* u HAVE to pick it up! xD its being made into a freak-tastic movie (well, it better be freak-tastic) and the entire series's just awesome! :D
I'll read it then. 6 of my friends in school keeps on telling me to read it and 3 people her in GR are tellin me and your the 10! So okay. I'll read it already.
I personally love vampire books. Idk there's something about them that gets the blood running. My favorite vamp series is VA but then I really like the vamps in the mortal interment series. And I just adore adult romance books with vamps and werewolves and stuff. *grins* Anywho, for some people it is getting a bit old. But even if the vamp era steps to the side, I don't think they'll ever be a day I won't find the perfect vamp book to read on a cold, boring, afternoon. :)
Vampires were cool until SMeyer turned them into disco balls in disguise. The vamps in VA were pretty interesting, the vamp society was well thought out... but the writing style was medicore at best - there was too much filler and too few actual good parts to the story!I prefer vampires to be base creatures that run on the instinct to feed, not lovey-dovey romantics that keep falling in love with human females and wait until they're 120 years old to lose their virginity even though they've been a 17 year old male for the past 100 years... Yeah, I didn't like Twilight at all.
