This is probably my favorite YA series and I read a lot of YA. Book 1 is sort of average so I tell people who weren't crazy about the first book to keep going because each book gets better and better, with books 3 through 6 being incredible.The best things about this series :
Strong female (no moping, no pining)
Strong male who is also humble and has great character
Funny and cocky male who still has flaws
There's also lots of action and the books are more plot driven than a lot of other YA series. This is not a run of the mill vamp series, and I hate when people compare these books to others thinking it will be the same thing because it's not at all.
I agree. I think it is one of the best vampire YA fiction ever written and it is more story driven
I love every series that Richelle Mead has written. Her Georgina Kincaid series (adult) is just as good as this one.
I love this series. It's definitely awesome, and one of my personal favorites. I thought the first book was pretty good, the fourth was great because I like vampires who suck blood, and I loved the conclusion!
One of my favorites :) Though the first book didn't really impress me. thanks for the suceeding books.. it makes me want to read more.
