I found the first 75 pages or so of the The Hypnotist to be incredibly intense. Actually had to put the book down every so often and read something else for a little. Loved the story though. Has anyone else read this?
Do you want to jump in on or buddy read, Marilyn..How long do you think it will take to come in Dee.
i dunno...the standard reading period is 3 weeks, depends if there is anyone else in line to get it...but if someone has it requested then it can't be renewed, so hopefully soon
I would love to if it's in the last part of the month.I have a lot to read this month and more books coming.
I have 5 books coming from paperback swap this week.
i can't start until september...using it as a challenge book...beside you'll leave us in the dust anyways
Ummmm, that is in 2 days...you will probably read it faster than me since I have 6 million books going right now.
I have like 6 books that i'm supposed to be starting on the 1st, plus the 4 I have in progress right now...lol! but that is def. less than your 60 right?
Apparently, I'm in good company. I'm currently reading 8, have several more I need to be reading. I've purposely kept September light so that I can hopefully get through some that I've been needing to read & review. Also, need to buckle down on my challenges for the year if I want to accomplish them. Perhaps I shouldn't have started so many! LOL But it's been fun.
i'm a challenge junkie as Naomi will tell you ;) but I do a pretty good job of fitting books into various challenges

I just can't say no to a book!
We have done buddy reads only for me to find out later it was because she needed it for a challenge...Oh, and who can forget her complaining about a challenge I had set up didn't include Africa..only to find out that she is in the middle of a huge Africa challenge! lol
You 2 are funny! If a book fits all my challenges I use it in all of them. I haven't done an arnd the world challenge yet. Maybe next year. I think I have 5 challenges in all. It's given me a focus for my reading list. when they become more like work than fun I'll quit doing them. Lol
glad we're entertaining ;) I love the around the world one i'm doing - the goal is to read 80 books set in 80 different countries - so i've read a lot of stuff I normally wouldn't have. It ends at the end of September, but I think i'm going to continue on when they restart and try to hit 80 more countries
This was ok to me. I will give it 3 stars, but it wasn't that "rock my world" NN that I love. The mystery was good, but I thought it might have dragged a bit.
Gotta know...I am supposed to start their new book The Nightmare: A Noveltoday and I noticed an awful lot of low stars. Anyone read this? I have a stack of books that just keep growing and at 500+ pages am wondering if I should just let this slip by.
