Yeah, I am completely undecided on the matter...
@Dez: Yep. We had a cat who had been used for animal testing :( She had thyroid problems and she'd lost all her teeth because of it. And the people cut her tail as well! Jerks.
Garrett wrote: "well i mean u girls still use all that stuff so......"What Dez said. And that's the only stuff I buy. If it doesn't say whether it's been animal tested or not, I won't buy it.
Garrett wrote: "so u still eat seafood n all those other animal products"If you eat seafood you're a peskiterian. Not a Veggiterian.
@G: Not seafood. or eggs. Just milk and cheese. But not so much cheese. And actually with eggs....if they're in something then I'll eat that so.....
Cosmetics should never be tested on animals. Our vanity should not cause animals to suffer. As for testing new potential meds on animals. Well, I'd prefer if they were tested on humans who had agreed to be guinea pigs.
I don't wear fur. I wear a faux leather jacket (at 25€ it cant be anything but faux leather, lol). I do wear leather-soled shoes, though.
@Dez: Good luck :) I would offer advice, but I didn't really become vegetarian by choice....well, I did, but it wasn't really the main reason.
I had to find a balance with the boyfriend for meat products. I cook 5 days a week, he cooks 2. On 4 of my 5 days I cook no meat, the other three days we have a meal that includes a meat product. I will not, however, eat halal meat.
