Adele looked around in amazement as she walked along the docks. People were everywhere, making last minute adjustments to their ships before flight. She smiled as she inhaled the sweet metalic air with a hint of oil. She laughed happily and hurried along the docks to the Black Diamond. Even though she had been a mate on the ship for almost two years, it never got old to her. Returning to the ship was always like returning to home.
((One question. Is this futuristic like in Treasure Planet, where it's almost steampunk with a mixture of past and future? Or is this futuristic like Star Trek with lots of high tech stuff?))

((WHOA. I had totally forgotten about this roleplay, but I'm so glad you posted!!! This is going to be fun!!
oh, do you mind if I rp with you? Pretty please? :P))

((:D!!! you're my favorite now :P))
"There's nothing this ship can't handle, I swear," Adele answered, shaking her head as a small smile plalyed at her lips. Her eyes never left the data screen, her fingers flying over the transluscent controls as she sifted through the information, picking out the best flight patterns and passageways. "Have you decided on a destination, Captain?" she asked, pausing as she glanced up at him.

"There's a few solar flares, if you count those as monsters," Adele smirked. She shook her head, her fingers tapping out a few more maps and figures. "Looks like it's pretty clear out there, at least in this quadrant."

((Grr! :( I had this nice post all typed out and what does it do? It decided to have a problem and not save my post :( sadness))
Adele turned her concentration to the screen before her, her fingers dancing across the consol. Along with the crewmen beside her, they woke up the ship with gentle rumbles and hums as a message was sent to the dock marking their departure. "Sailing out," Adele chuckled softly to herself, as the ship released from the port and started to fly.
((Alright, I have a question. Do you want this to be Star Trek-ish? Or steam punk-ish?))

Harley looked out to the sky as the flew off. He wondered how far away the ocean could be. That's where he belonged, not in the sky, but everyone else was in the sky too. He really had no choice. Harley looked down at Adele, raising an eyebrow. "How are you so young and on my ship?"
((Well, that was a long time ago, and since it looks like it's just you and me, I think it's safe to say we can do whatever we want :P Personally, I think it would be fun to have it steam punk. Have you ever seen the show Firefly? Or Serenity? It's out in space, but more fantasy than Star Trek. I kind of wanted to do something more like that))
Trying not to pout, Adele laid her arm on the back of her chair as she looked up at him to prevent herself from crossing her arms childishly. "I'm not that young," she said defensively as she looked up at him. "Besides, you're the youngest captain of a ship I've ever met, so I don't think you're one to point fingers."
((I'm going to update her charrie a little, since it's been a while. I think I'm going to make her 20, instead of 19. Haven't really decided yet))

Harley shook his head, rolling his eyes a little. "Lift the top, men! We'll need to breathe out there!" Harley looked back down at Adele. "Adele, you just sit there all day? You really should get to work." a smirk played across his lips. He motioned for her to get up. "Lead me to the cap'ains quarters!"
((:P so where are they right now?))
"Yessir." Adele powered down her station, leaving the controls to her crewmate before getting up and passing Harley. "Right this way, Captain." She rested her left hand on the hilt of her electrasabre as she moved from the deck towards the back of the ship. They moved down a fancier hallway ending in a door that looked ornate and delicate, but had a sense of pirate arogantcy to it. "Here you are, sir."

As they walked, many of the crew winked and whistled for Adele. Harley chuckled, nodding at her. "Thank yah, m'lady." He said with a much too dramatic bow. With a sweep of his arm, he was upright again, and already walking inside. "Be careful of the men, they're not nearly as gentlemanly as me." He said, slapping her butt before walking all the way in. He winked at her with a smirk, and slammed his doors shut.
((I get it, it's okay :P))
Glaring at him for the slap, Adele turned on her heel and walked away as the door shut. She got a few more whistles and catcalls as she went back on deck, but she shut them up with an electrical hum from her weapon. She went back to her station, going over the data to make sure everything was running smoothly.

Adele looked around as the ship glided effortlessly, thinking about the voyage. At the moment there wasn't much to do, all the data was inputed and she just had to stand by in case of anything going wrong. She pulled up some maps and looked around, looking for something interesting.

"The skies are clear," Adele confirmed through her mouth piece. She sent out bytes of information through the system, relaying them to all th different decks and departments. She looked deeper in space on their current trajectory, wondering where they'd end up this time.

The thick black ball went hurling through the air and hit the side of their ship head on. "That aought to get their attention." She said with a smirk.

"Men! Get the cannons ready, and shoot a warning! If they don't take it, free fire!" He yelled pulling out his own compass. He could just barely make out a sillohettte on the ship. Their first cannon ball was shot out, and the ship shook.

"Men, Lets reid us a ship," she said as their ship got closer to the on comming ship. They were taking heavy fire but nothing the ship couldn't take. Once close enought they jumped from one ship to the other and began their fight. Lila smirked and grabbed her sword and gun before jumping onto the other ship as well.

((So....we're not in the sky or outer space....right?))
Adele jumped, scowling as she turned in her seat to give a snarky retort to the captain when the ship suddenly lurched, an explosion coming from up front. The alerts went on and she went to work, stabalizing the systems, her fingers flying to input data quickly before they lost speed or fuel. She locked down the center and made sure the ship was on auto before she stood, her sword our and buzzing electronically as she prepared to defend the controls to the ship.
The battle seemed to last forever and end quickly at the same time. She fought men as they came in, blasting them with electric blasts and clashing with their swords. Eventually she and her crewmates drove them off, only to stop and watch their captain fighting who appeared to be the captian of the other ship. Adele frowned, tense and ready to fight when suddenly the other crew was gone, vanished from deck. Not wasting any time she hurried back to her station to asess the damages to the ship and their course. She inputed a few commands, ignoring the few scratches and scrapes she had attained during the battle.
When the excitement had settled down a abit she glanced at the captain, her gaze raking over the trinkets on his chest, wondering what their significance was. "Orders, captain?"

"Yes ma'am, I couldn't get the map itself, it was safe guarded behind an electric case but I did get a photo," he said handing her the camera.
Lila smiled as she looked over the photo,"It will do, turn the sails we are heading south by sea. We do not need anymore distractions." Lila then looked up at the ship in the sky and smiled before she winked, knowing he was watching.

"Be calm, my mother wasn't a rash woman but she smart. When she took map from Antony she made a replica. Many in fact, every replica was missing something from it that the real make had. However, with Rosseta Stone, we can fill in the blanks."
"Yes but how are we to get the stone?"
"I must go back home," she said softly.

Adele pursed her lips as he walked away, looking down at her injuries. She was in better condition from some of the other wounded from the fight, so she didn't bother going to the medic. Instead she cleaned up, wiping the blood from the scratch on her cheek as well as a few scrapes on her arms. Then she went back to work, glancing up only when the captain returned. She looked it over, nodding slowly. "I can input the data now, captain," she said, lookng up at him. She raised an eyebrow slightly, wondering what he had been staring at. "May I ask what they lead to?"
((So where is this all happening? Are we on Earth or in the skies, or in space somewhere?))

"Ah, that's what I want to see." He said, purposefully keeping his gaze down at the book. He nodded at her, flicking his light green eyes up again once. He walked away, boots loud on the ship. He continued reading as he walked, taking just a moment to look over his shoulder at her, again. He shook his head, while a few members noticed. He glared up at them every time they tried to talk to him while he was sitting in a little corner by the nets and machines. It was a good place to read.
((ah, okay))
Nodding slightly, Adele looked back to her screen as she added the coordinates to the flight path. "All systems are go," she heard over the comms. She nodded, signaling the pilot to go for it. She looked over the ships systems as they accelerated, making sure everything was going as it should.

Adele worked hard, aking sure eveything was working right. When her a replacement finally came to her station she sighed, tired from the excitement of the day. She went tinto the galley for a snack, sitting down at one of the windows to look at the sky outside.

Adele relaxed in her seat, smilng a little at the view outside. She loved traveling like this, seeing the stars and flying through the skies. She sighed, closing her eyes as she layed her cheek on the glass.
The Good fleet and the Bad fleet can meet here or in the sky it up to you.
HAVE FUN
