((ok ill start))Shoal walked along the side walk trying to keep her balance as the wind blew her long black hair in her face.
Nickolai walked quietly down the street from the supermarket. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was walking.
Shoals hair blew into her face as she walked blindly into Nickolai.
Nickolai looked down at the girl that had bumped into him. "Excuse me, miss," he said politely.
Shoal looked up at him her cheeks reddened "I-Im so sorry" she whispered looking down at the ground. What was wrong with me I should have heard him walking towards me i thought to myself.
"Heard me coming? The wind is blowing pretty hard, don't you think. Anyone could have not heard another person coming," Nickolai said.
How-how did he know her cheeks got more red if it was possible "We-well i usually have very good senses" she whispered looking up into his eyes.
"Really," Nickolai inquired, intrigued.
She quickly looked away. I got to be careful with what i say to him she thought to herself. "Yes, but do not be to interested it is minor..." ....not really i added to myself.
"Not really? Being careful isn't what's giving you away," Nickolai stated, tapping his head.
Shoal looked into his eyes and then looked away and held her head. "You-Your different your not like the others" she said. It hurt to look into his eyes this had only happened once before the night her father was killed.
"Yes, as are you. That makes us both different," Nickolai remarked.
"As it seems" she whispered. "we can't talk here" she whispered looking around at others around them.
"Of course not here. People are startung to get nosey," Nickolai said, glancing around.
She nodded and then started to walk down the street and turn into the closest alley way.
Nickolai followed after her nonchalantly, drawing little attention to him and the girl.
Shoal waited for him to enter the alley after her so they could talk without the bothersome people around them ease dropping.
Nickolai turned into the alley. "So?"
"Well i dont think we have been properly introduced, names Shoal special ability sharp senses and emotion reader" she said holding out a calm hand.
"Nickolai. Telepathy and telekenesis," he said, taking her hand, "Pleasure to meet you."
she nodded "pleasures all mine" she whispered "i haven't met another person like me since i was five my dad got in a horrible fight with a person like us even though he was one himself he suffered a terrible death" she said looking up at him.
"I'm sorry to hear," Nickolai said, sincerely, "I've met one other like us."
"really?" shoal smiled admiration in her eyes she was glad to know she was no longer alone.
Nickolai nodded. "Yes, really," he replied.
"well i want to meet him or her can you take me to them!?!" she said excitedness flooded into her voice.
"Um, sure, but she might not be feeling well," Nickolai said, "So, I can't guarentee she'll talk or anything."
"Oh whats wrong" said Shoal she was starting to feel a pain in her back leg but ignored it.
Nickolai shrugged. "No one knows; she just gets sick or injured," he commented.
"Oh" she whispered she tried to ignore the pain in her leg but it seemed to be getting worst.
"Are you alright," Nickolai asked, concern in his voice.
"Ill be..." she didn't get to finish her voice was weak and her vision blurred before she fell forward.
Nickolai caught her before she hit anything. He lift her up, looking around. Unsure of what to do, he decided to carry her home.
Her head throbbed and ached what had happened all she remembered was talking to Nickolai.
Nickolai pushed open the door to his apartment. "I'm home," he called, passing by a locked door. He went to his room and laid Shoal on his bed.
Shoal twitched in her unconscious nap.
The locked door swung open slightly.Nickolai went to get ice for Shoal.
