The Bookends discussion

Good morning all,

The polls are now closed for September's books.
Book #1 was tied between Hunger Games and Clockwork Angel so I put them in a 'draw' and the winner is Clockwork Angel.

Book #2 is The Host which had the most votes.

Yay. I LOVED the Host. One of my fav books of all time. I've been wanting to read Clockwork Angel for a while now :)

I'm looking forward to reading them both and to our discussion. I'm almost finished Mockingjay!! What a great Trilogy!

I'm looking forward to seeing how they adapt the film for Hunger Games. I can't seem to get my hopes up though... nothing will be better than the way I imagined it!
Actually, I'm excited for The Host as well! But again, probably not up to my expectations.

I have ordered Clockwork Angel at the library and can't wait to read it. I am the 7th person in line for a request. Obviously a popular book!

My copy is "in transit", though who knows how long that will take.

Wow, this is amazing I just looked and although I was 7th in line for request of Clockwork Angel, it's already available for pickup! Well after the weekend that is! Hope everyone is having a great Labour Day Weekend! I will go and pick up the book either Tuesday or Wednesday! I'm looking forward to reading it!

My copy of Clockwork Angel is in transit too from the library - hope it doesn't take too long! (holiday weekend in the States though). Looking forward to reading it.

Well I have finished Clockwork Angel and I enjoyed the story! Now I have to see if I can get the next one in the series!

WOW, sounds like it's a good read! I downloaded it on my reader but haven't started it yet! I'm still working on The Host!
