Well, if you really want me to explain . . .

Nessa sat down with her fiddle, bored. She began to play a quick, lively, dancing piece.

Rose walked in and decided to play along with Nessa on her flute. She pulled it out and began to play along with her.

Nessa grinned at her a she played.

Rose managed to smile while playing

Nessa continued her lively tune and finished the folk song.

Rose finished perfectly in time with Nessa. Rose greeted Nessa, "Hello. Nessa, is it?"

Nessa grinned and nodded, "yes, it is. But, unfortunalty I don't know your name. I'm surprised, I know most musician, as good as you, name's."

"Thank you. I am Rose." ahe flicked her golden hair back and held her hand out with a smile.

"Hi, Rose, nice to meet you," she smiled and shook it.

"As I you. You're excellant on the fiddle. It was a pleasure to play with you, Nessa. I hope we can play another song before I must depart?"

Nessa blushed slightly and grinned broadly. "Thank you, you're amazing on the flute, too. How about-" she played a piece.

Rose soon matched her with the countermelody.

Nessa smiled and played the toe tapping folk song.

Rose swayed a bit to the music.

Nessa finished again with a huge grin on her face. "You're good, that was a complicated one."

"Thank you. You're amazing, though." Rose grinned and asked, "Some time will do this again. Yes?"

"You're too kind. You're really good. Yes, I think we best," she smiled widely at her.

"I will gladly play again with you,"

Nessa smiled modestly, "sounds great!"

"I must depart, sadly, now."

Nessa sighed and nodded, "alright, Rose. We'll meet again," she promised.

"I promise, we will." Rose smiled and left.

((they should meet like 20 years later or something.))

Nessa walked back to the Tavern, fiddle in one hand. She wore a white dress that contrasted with her black hair. She thought about how she had played with Rose exactly one year earlier as she set up.

Rose came into the tavern, smiling. Looking exactly the same. She had her flute in hand.

Nessa picked up her fiddle and looked around. She saw someone who looked so familiar. "Rose?" she said with a grin.

"It's me Nessa," Rose came forward and hugged her.

Nessa smiled and hugged her, "exactly one year!" she laughed.

"Of course!" Rose grinned.

Nessa grinned, "what have you been up to?"

"Traveling, Playing, and Thinking."

"Good, do more folks know about you know?"

"Yes, but, would you like to play with me again as we did 365 days ago?"

Nessa grinned and nodded.

Rose began to play the song they had played together.

She moved her bow up and down the fiddle, tapping her toe to the beat.

Rose swayed to the music

Nessa sped it up a little and finished. The small crowd that gathered clapped and cheered. "Good job," she grinned.

"You are still, as always, amazing, Nessa."

Nessa blushed, "and you're even better than when I met you. I didn't think you could get much better."

"Thank you," Rose smiled and hugged Nessa.

Nessa smiled and hugged her back.
