Sweeping Sagas discussion

Discuss part two here. Spoilers ahoy for anything in part one, but otherwise please use the spoiler tag.

Ladies, I didn't realize this yesterday, but I was only 2 pages away from part two so I did get into part two today and I'm sorry to say, I quit. I'm only writing a review because it is a Vine book. I have thoroughly loved comparing notes, but I can't finish this. My apologies. If I make it to page 150 and still find myself trying to get all the characters situated in my mind and at the same time, falling asleep, that's it. LOL I can honestly say, I gave it a fair shot.

She's losing me too. I've put it aside for a bit but if I pick it up again and feel the same way I'll likely bail as well. It is bouncing around too much and I don't know who I'm supposed to care about, nor what the damn book is really about.

I started that Susanna Kearsley book. There's no way in hell I wanted to go back to Tides. LOL

I will try at least one more time. I wish it would focus more on Harriet and her mother.
