A Thousand Worlds discussion

This is a place where the olympians watch fights to the death! (I'm not sure if that's right, lol. Btw, you guys have to create a mini charrie on a thread I will make if you want to rp here for fighting. Unless, of course, you guys want to have your charries die! That's fine because we have Hades for that. XD)

The crowd roared as the five empty-handed contestants were brought into the large, circular arena. There were several weapons at the center, and the combatants were put in a circle around them. All the entrance gates were shut and the battle officially started! (I tried to make it as fast as possible, lol.

Weapons available:

3x Swords
2x Knives
2x Katanas
1x Bow and a sheathe of arrows
1x Longsword

(All weapons were taken into consideration)

Arni looked at the weapons, judging what she could get before the other contestants.

Eric looked frantically at the other contestants and felt fear. He didn't want to die. Eric quickly ran for a sword.

Two left, better get one now before it's too late. Arni calmly walked forward and retrieved a sword and returned to her place, flashing a smile at everyone in the crowd and the contestants.

((NO!!!! Wait!!!))

Annabeth, who was the youngest of them, ran towards the long sword, the weapon she was most skilled of all of them. She bit her lip when she picked it up, wondering if she should grab the bow and arrow.

Leo ran and did a somersault, snatching up the two katanas and coming into a crouch, looking around with his blades crossed in an X in front of him. Rafael just ran and picked up the Sai blades, twirling them in his hands. "Alright, whoever wants it can come and get it." He growled, seeing if anyone would make a move.

Annabeth backed up a step, a bit frightened.

Rafael chuckled and looked over at Annabeth. "You don't look too well."

"Raf, leave the kid alone. Go after him." Leo nodded over to Eric.

Rafael shrugged and turned to face Eric. "How 'bout it?"

Arni stood in front of Annabeth, "You want the kid? Then get through me." she challenged.

Annabeth smiled and darted forwards, taking the bow and arrow. She was faster then the human or demigod eye could follow.

"My pleasure!" Rafael rushed forward, holding his Sai close to him a bit, and thrust the left one towards Arni's face.

Arni ducked out of the way, slipping her sword into her belt, she was going to start with a little hand to sai. "Thank you, now this is entertaining." she said before aiming a front kick to his face.

Annabeth raised the bow and arrow, aiming at Rafael.

((I'm on an iTouch.... So I might be slow. :P so don't like post twenty posts at once..... ^-^ just to let y'all know.))

Leo rushed forward and reached his right sword out and blocked the arrow in Annabeth's bow, placing his left blade against the back of her neck. "You might want to rethink that." He said.

Rafael did a back flip out of the way, got onto his hands and with his legs swung about to kick her feet out from under her. "You got that right." Rafael smirked.

Before Leo could do anything, Annabeth had hit him hard enough on the head to see spots and was on the other side of the Coliseum, hissing. "I shall do as I like!"

Leo muttered under his breath, rubbing his head as he watched her. She reminded him of Mikey. He straightened and hefted the blades in his hands, looking around. Raf seemed fine, so he ran after Annabeth.

"Oh, you want todo acrobatics now?" Arni lightly sprung out of the way, doing an ariel, landing and swinging her leg low to sweep Rafeal's handsout from under him.

Annabeth shot two arrows at him over her shoulder as she slowed her pace to a normal demigod.

"Well I am a ninja." Rafael pushed up and flipped over so her leg went under him while he was in the air, then landed so he was looking down at the ground, then brought his feet underneath him and jumped up, doing a somersault over Arni and sweeping his right Sai in an arc, aiming for her neck.


Leo raised his blades quickly and severed both arrows before they reached him, then sped up. He kicked off the ground and did a no handed cartwheel through the air, landing in a roll and coming to be fight in front of Annabeth, too close for arrows, he crossed his swords on either side of her neck.

"And I a gymnast and tea kow do expert, we are even." Arni said, pulling out her sword and deflecting the Sai, nut not before it caught her cheek, resulting in a nice little bugger of a cut, "Damn!" she shouted, moving heresies to cut his cheek in the same place as hers.

Annabeth hit the ground running at her fullest speed.

Once his Sai had been blocked, he had jumped away. Rafael grinned. "Someone's a bit grumpy. I'm just glad it isn't me this time." He raised his two Sai in an x to catch her sword between them.

Leo didn't know how this worked. Did they really have to kill each other? He stood still, lowering his swords but being fully alert. He didn't want to kill anyone, it went against Master Splinter's teachings, the way of the ninja, everything. Leo looked around, ready to find a way out of this. Of course, Raf might not help him. He seemed to be having fun, and Rafael lived for battle.

"Well you aren't the one witha burning gash on their cheek are you?!" Arni said sharply, yanking her sword up, she knew that disarm. She quickly moved it under the Sai's going for his chest.

"Whoa!" Rafael let himself drop to the ground on his back. He looked up at the sword above him. "So how do you think the other contestants are doing?" He asked casually.

Arni quickly cut his cheek and placed her sword back in her belt, offering a hand to help him up, "I don't know, shall we see how it is?"

"Gah!" Rafael flinched in surprise when she cut him. He narrowed his eyes, then chuckled. "You're not so bad, kid." He took her hand and pulled himself up. "Are we seriously supposed to kill each other?" He looked around.

"Rememeber sir, that whenever you are in a fight that involves blades of any kind you are most likely going to get cut, so don't be suprised when it happens." Arni said, half serious half joking, "I don't know, I certainly can't now."

"Sir? Don't make me feel old." Rafael muttered. "Besides, I've been in hundred of battles. That doesn't mean that after hundreds of times it doesn't have to hurt anymore. And I think I know what you mean by that last sentence." He put his Sai in his belt and folded his arms. "Wonder if there's a half time or somethig...."

((gtg now, Gnite!))

"Is sire better?" Arni asked sarcasticly, "It could be half time, but good fight..... What's your name?"

Annabeth glanced around and aimed at Rafael again, firing a single arrow at his thigh.

"Raf..." He cried out as the arrow hit his leg and dropped to the ground in surprise.

Leo looked up at the sound of an arrow whooshing past, and saw Rafael fall. "Raf!" He yelled and ran over.

Annabeth shoved the bow onto her back and strayed away from the rest of them.

"Arni." She said chuckling a bit and going over to help him.

Annabeth watched everyone carefully.

Rafael nodded. "Hey Arni.... Leo don't.." He winced as Leo pulled out the arrow. "Leo meet Arni. Arni meet Leo." Leo looked at her suspiciously. "Why are you two talking? We're supposed to be fighting. If we don't..." He motioned over to Annabeth. "She'll kill us." Rafael rolled his eyes. "We'll die anyway, there's no getting out of here."

((Soo... They all do die right?))

Annabeth's eyes kept darting to each contestant.


((well there has to be a winner.......))

Arni smiled, "Nice to meet you Leo, Nija too?" she asked him, stepping forward next to Raf, "Talking makes fighting funner."

Annabeth sighed and leaned back onto the wall. What the heck was she doing in the Coliseum at age 16 and a girl at that! She knew the charges but, did not know the reasons they were given.

Leo studied her. "Actually, yeah, I am. As for the talking bit, I believe it disrupts the battle and can distract one's mind from the task at hand." He looked over at Annabeth. "Do you know who she is?"

The crowd was booing, disappointed that the contestants were merely standing around. This was not what they had paid for and they wouldn't have it.
((Are there like guards or gladiators that will come and make everyone fight if they refuse to?))

Arni looked around, grinning at the crowd. And waving a little, then blowing kisses, in response to their booing.
