Annabeth de Crest stood at the very edge and let the wind course through her hair.

Connor sat farther away, playing with the air

Annabeth leaned farther out, dangerously so.

Conner watched her, slightly afraid that she'd get herself killed. "Hey!" he called

Annabeth opened her eyes and pulled back from the edge but, was still teetering up there.

Conner stood up, heading toward her. "You might fall off if you stand that close"

Annabeth shrugged and pushe her windblown hair out of her face.

He stood next to her, looking out over the cliffs. "It is a nice view tho"

"Yes, I guess." Annabeth final spoke.

"I'm Connor" He said, holding out his hand

Annabeth cautionlessly shoke his hand, "Annabeth."

Conner smiled.

Annabeth gave a small smile back.

"I don't think I've seen you in town before"

"Oh, I've been around for couple months now."

Raven sat on the edge, leaning over and staring down, she scooched closer than she was to the edge. Her hair rested on her shoulder, falling on her face, she pushed it behind her ear, she grabbed binoculars out of her bag and used them to try and see the bottom. She couldn't, too much fog.

Conner nodded, "So are you a witch or what?"

"A witch of sorts."

Conner nodded. Everyone was slightly witchey.

Annabeth shrugged and tentively held out her hand. She gestured skyward with the other, "Do you like to fly?"

He grinned, "I've never done it"

"Well, take my hand and find out if you do!" Annabeth muttered the spell under her breathe and she stated to rise. She grabbed his hand.

Connor grinned, taking her hand and floating up with her. "Wow!" he said, amazed

Annabeth held onto his hand and ran across the air towards the edge of the cliffs

Conner laughed, loving the feel of the wind

"Here we go." she whispered. Annabeth jumped over the fence and they started falling.

Conner yelped, but then started yelling with pleasure. "Oh.....my.....god!!!!"

Annabeth closed her eyes as she felt the ground coming towards them fast.

Conner glanced at her, "uh...are we going to just smash through the ground or what?"

Annabeth laughed as she saw the ground only 60 meters below. At the last possible second they curved upward and where suspended in air

Conner laughed breathlessly. "Wow."

"I never get tried of that," Annabeth smiled.

Conner laughed, "God, I wish I could fly."

"It's has close as I get."

He laughed, "This is amazing"

"It truly is."

"So do you do anything apart from flying?"

"Lots of things but, I'm a total fail at being a witch."

Conner raised an eyebrow, "Who can you fail at being a witch?"

"When your magic as been do stifled over the years of mixing with humans there is almost nothing left."

Conner nodded, "Yeah, that makes sense"

Meanwhile......at the bottom of the cliff where the waves were crashing against the sand dunes, a small raft washed up on shore. On it lay a girl with.....?
(I don't know what)

"I guess it does but, what they say is so contradicting. They say magic is Eternal and Immortal."

On it lay a girl with long blonde hair with green tints. This girl would have seemed ordinary enough, except she had pearls sewed onto her eyelids. (how about that? :D)

Conner looked down, "Who's that?" He asked, pointing to the raft

"I don't know," Annabeth murmured, trying to read the magic.
