There are billions upon billions of planets out there, and I would definitely say that we are not alone in this vast universe. The legends, myths, sighting, and speculations on different aliens have been marvelously depicted in this work. If you didn't think it was possible for there to be other life out there before, this book will at least make you wish there was, just so you could see the beauty in some of these races.

Some of the aliens had descriptions to them that were mind boggling. I have a HUGE obsession with dragons, and one of the alien races in here made a mention about the dragon myth, and how an alien race could be the source. OOHHH!! LOVE IT! Not only did it bring me some new ideas into the dragons that I adore so much, but it took me to my Star Trek days. I really would expect to see each and every one of these to be featured in a Star Trek: TNG episode (I really wish that show were still around..BUT...back to what I WAS talking about).

I am waiting patiently for the larger version of this to come out. The pictures in this are simply MINDBLOWING. The attention to detail, the colors, the lines, the vast differences between the races are simply superb. Each race has its very own unique feel and style. The artist also did a wonderful job putting the alien in unique backgrounds to enhance the overall feeling of the being.

this was SO COOL ... I told Patrick I'll have to go and buy the darned h/c when it comes out, 'cause that art just can't be done justice to on an e-reader - HOWEVER one HAS to get this condensed version, too, so one can see all the nifty behind-the-scenes stuff! My review is posted on the book's page, and my Livejournal (which is http://katya-s69.livejournal.com and I just realized that people might think I was born in '69 because of this and many other places where I append "69" to my name, but no ... I just like the number ... although I was CONCEIVED in '69, so I guess it sort of works ...), as well as all the other usual suspects ... LOL

The art was superb. I can't wait to see it in print!
