The Bookends discussion
Other books you are reading
Hmmm, well, I just won a first reads book Galileo's Daughter: A Historical Memoir of Science, Faith and Love, so that's what my next read will be. I also started one a long time ago, but it was so dry that I had to put it down and give it a rest. I'll finish it eventually. A Great Deliverance
I'm reading Fateful by Cheri Schmidt a goodreads author, it's available as an ebook only I think or you could read it on your computer. It's a bit like Twilight, it's pretty good and a real page turner for me!
Hi Tasha,Thanks for ranking Fateful for me. So glad you liked it! And just so you know, my books are available in paperback from Amazon.
I'll soon have signed copies available from my website. Also check my blog for giveaways, which I do frequently.
I'm reading...The Greyfriar
AndA Time for Love
So far I've loved the beginning of both. The Greyfriar has started about a little gory for me, but it is well written. And Lynn Kurland is just one of my favorite authors. She's so good at funny banter.

Hi Cheri,
Welcome and thanks for joining our group! I'm still reading Fractured and a few other books at the same time, but it's good so far! I'm dying to find out if Ethan gets changed back.
That's great news about your books being out on paperback! I would love to order a signed copy as well! I will definitely check your site and blog, thanks for the update :)

I read two books that I highly recommend from 2 very different genres. The first is Cemetery Girl a suspense thriller and the second a period romance/mystery called The Companion of Lady Holmeshire. My reviews are on goodreads or my blog:

Trying to finish Down River to begin The Soldier's Wife. The Last Child was a page turning, can't put down mystery that led me to author John Hart.
I just finished Down River this morning, and although I liked it, it wasn't as good as The Last Child. Definitely worth reading though!
I am reading Bride of the Nightby Heather Graham. I received an ARC of this book. It takes place during the civil war..and there are vampires who are taking advantage of the ciaos the war causes. About 50% done and I am enjoying it. It should be released in Nov.
finished and posted review of Bride of the Night/ @ http://kimbathecaffeinatedbookreviewe...I am reading To Kill a Mockingbirdchapters 9 to 16, as part of another group. Having read this in high school, I am so glad we chose to re-read this. My view of this wonderful novel is so different from that of my youth.
I am also reading The Next Thing I Knew It's a Ya paranormal mystery/thriller.

That's what I really liked about it! I was never a huge fan of his other books (though maybe I was just reading the wrong ones), and I loved the science fiction feel over horror.
You may like his Frankenstein series then (if you haven't read them yet) It's more sci fi then horror.
I've actually been meaning to give it a try, but, between book club reads and first reads giveaways, I haven't been able to fit in a lot of extra curricular reading. It's doesn't help that I've started devoted a portion of my evenings to writing. I really can't complain, though. I will always have too many books on my to-read shelf. ;)

Yeah, I understand entirely. As I was "complaining" I was secretly very happy with myself. I'm actually accomplishing more than I thought!

It's on my to read list! Loved the movie, the book must be great but very long, I'm a bit intimidated by that right now!!
