This is also where you will post what you have completed so that it can be updated on the leaderboard. You can claim your points every time you complete a task or every few tasks that you complete; however often you choose to.

Claiming your points should look something like this:

Just finished "This Book" for "this task" for x points.

New Total: x points

BEFORE YOU POST READ THIS:

Please check the leaderboard before you make your FIRST post claiming points to make sure nobody has your name. If somebody does have your name, please put your last initial or something to distinguish yourself. You don't have to change your name for GR but rather everytime you post, in addition to your points and all that jazz, put the name that you would like on the leaderboard. Please do this every time you post. I can't tell you how many triples and doubles I had of SO many names. It took me so long to figure out who the heck was who.

Also, please please please wait until you have finished the WHOLE task before you post it. A lot of people were just posting one book for a 2 book task a month before the other one and then not reposting that book when they actually finished the book. It took me so long to go back through the thread to find that they did indeed read 2 books for the challenge but one book was just posted elsewhere.

Daisy | 686 comments Yay! I'm the first one :)

Finished 10.8 What comes first: I Am Number Four, saw the movie this summer and REALLY wanted to read the book. I liked the book better, there were some things that were different from the movie and I think it worked better that way. I do think if I hadn't seen the movie first I would have enjoyed this more, because I knew of some things I won't mention and well, it wasn't so much of a surprise because of that. If I'm making sense.

Bianca (sugardustedbooks) 10.8 Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

I put the book on hold at my local library months ago because I wanted to read it before watching the movie but there were a lot of people ahead of me and I just got it this week. I didn't want to but I ended up watching the movie before reading the book. For the first time I have to say I liked the movie more. I liked the book but loved the movie.

Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl.com (miss_jana) | 125 comments I just finished 15.8 - Family influences.

I read an ARC of Forbidden by Syrie James and her son Ryan James. One of my great grandfathers was James. I liked the book a lot, but not as much as her other books. This was her first time co-writing a book as well as diving into the YA genre, and I like her much better as an adult author. I just expected more from her. I've gotten to know her writing style so well, that I could totally tell which parts her son added. It just seemed like I was reading two different voices. The story was great, though! There were twists, some romance, and it kept me guessing. :)

Julia (taspsandiego) | 16 comments I just finished If on a Winter's Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino for The Perfect Gift challenge. It starts off as the main character looking for a misplaced book and it ends up being about the main character looking for - and never finding - several books, but I suppose it still fits the challenge. An amazing book, by the way.

KatyO I´ve just finished Gossip Girl for the task 10.9--> What comes first
I hope it´s ok that I chose this book, because it´s not a film but a TV series! But I have seen it on TV first and now read the book. And it´s the first time that I can say, I liked the book LESS than the TV version!

Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl.com (miss_jana) | 125 comments Finished 25.8 - Job Satisfaction

I read Welcome to My World for my ideal job. The heroine is a travel agent, and I always thought that would be an amazing job. I read Lola and the Boy Next Door for my sucky job. Lola is a seamstress and aspiring fashion designer, which I would be awful at. I can sew in straight lines, but I can't make clothes! Welcome to My world was ok, but Lola was wonderful and a new favorite!
