Part 3!

"I can't believe he's gone," Geoff said, sitting on the edge of the bed of his and Krysta's room.

"I know," Krysta whispered.

It was two hours later after they arrived at the house. Criss and Aly had told them what happened.

Dacosta had showed up out of nothing with Kate at her side. Kate killed Terry using vampire speed and magic.

"I don't understand," Geoff said. "Why would she do that? What's in it for her?"

"It's Kate. She doesn't need a reason for the things she does," Krysta said.

"She wasn't always like that. I don't know what happened," he said.

"She's like that now," she said.

Geoff sat with his hands in his hair. "I don't understand."

Krysta took his hands, "We'll get through this."

"Terry pretty much raised me," he said, standing up.

"I'm sorry," she said.

"Dacosta," Geoff said, shaking his head.

"I can't believe he would do something like this," Krysta said.

"I should go downstairs," he said.

Krysta stood up and hugged him, "It'll be fine."

"As long as I have you," he said.

"You will. Always," she said.

They went downstairs.

Most people where in the living room.

They all looked at Geoff, expectantly.

He hesitated and looked at Krysta.

She took his hand. "It's okay," she whispered.

"We have to find the ones that did this. So I want all out on patrol searching for Kate and Dacosta," Geoff said.

Everyone stood up.

"We'll start there," Geoff said.

When Geoff had some wolves on patrol Criss came over to them. "Hey mr and mrs Alpha."

"Not helping, Criss," Geoff said.

"Sorry. You guys okay?" he asked.

"No. No, we come home and find out Terry was killed. Ans this was supposed to be a happy time, we should be in the kitchen cheering right now, not chasing murders," Krysta said.

"I told you so," Criss mumbled.

"So not the time, Criss," Krysta said.

"But it's true. I told you guys something was wrong with him," he said.

"Yes, you did and you were right, happy?" Krysta said and left.

"Krys," Aly said.

Krysta sighed and turned around toward Aly, "What?"

"Okay," Aly said slowly. "Never mind."

"No, sorry. What is it?" Krysta said.

"Nothing," she said. "it's not important."

"Aly, come on. Tell me," Krysta said.

Aly glanced at Criss. "Not here," she said.

"Come on then," Krysta said and took Aly upstairs.

They went to Aly's room. Aly turned on the radio.

"What's wrong?" Krysta asked.

"Do you want the bad news or the really bad news?" she said.

"Really bad first," Krysta said.

"Okay, no one's told you this, because Geoff said not to say, but I can't.. Kate said she was coming after you. Not really a big surprise but still.." Aly said.

"And the bad news?" Krysta asked.

"I think I may be pregnant," she said.
