Operation: Masquerade (Original RP) discussion

Much more festive than the outside, the Main Hall stretches on and on, and you can already see several young men and women. The only offsetting thing is the many guards that watch over, giving you the chills.

Alucard, Rab and Justyn stood akwardly in a semi-circle, looking at all the girls...

"There's so many pretty faces here to night." Justyn noted.

"Indeed, I presume that they're all fluttry and such, yeah?" Rab said, looking around.

"I know, I mean, I'm sweating. Wudda 'bout you Alucard?" Justyn asked his friend.

Alucard simply raised his hands to the back of his head and tightened the ribbon keeping his mask in place.

Luci walked through the main hall by herself not sure what to do. She grimaced looking down at her dress, she didn't understand why they had to be so formal.

Justyn took a notice at the two who'd just entered.

Alucard looked up at Maxine and straightened his back.

Rab noted this and chuckled, "Go get 'er bro." he encoraged him and with a curt nod, Alucard walked, more like glided, (in a manly fashion) over to Maxine.

Rab and Justyn took one look Luci and both looked at each other.

"Rpc?" Justyn suggested.

"You're on." Rab challenged.

"Fo sho my man." Justyn sneered and winked at Rab and wlaked towards Luci.

Luci was glad for the mask as a boy walked towards her, she felt her face flushing.

Phineas entered the room, immediately bolting for a corner to hide in. "Stupid rules...stupid ball...its all so stupid..." he had a habit of talking to himself, since he had no one to talk to

Alucard stopped in front of Maxine and tilted his head forward and blinked slowly.

Justyn smiled at Luci, "Well hello there, may I ask you a question?"

Rab blinked when he heard someone talking and hide in teh corner behind him. He turned around, hands in his pockets and looked at him.

Luci hesitated caught off guard, "Um, I think you just did?" she laughed nervously.

"Oh, clever as much a beautiful... very well, may I ask you a thrid question?" he said leaning against the wall

Phineas slumped against a column, trying to clear his head of all his confused thoughts. Being dead or arrested seemed better than looking like a fool with his mask and trying to catch the eye of a lady. He looked warily to Rab, then to the floor

Rab sighed and walked over to him slowly,"Hey." he said lowly, trying not to catch anyone else's attention

Alucard held his hand out, and raised his eyebrows.
Dance?

"Hullo..." he saidin his equally tiny and squeaky voice. He looked to Rab again and felt his heart flutter. What was this feeling? He had no idea. "How are you, fellow?"

Luci smiled, "I guess so, considering your on a roll"

"I'm fine... you look a little nervous there." he said softly leaning against the wall next to him.

Justyn smiled slyly, "Do you have a quarter I could borrow, so I can call my mom and tell her I just met the girl of my dreams?"

Luci rolled her eyes, "That's probably the worst pick up line ever!"

"Beautiful name, Maxine." Alucard purred and pulled her out slowly to the dance floor, "My name is Alucard." he said just above a whisper.

He smiled slightly, glad to finally be in the company of someone. "Yes...you see, im quite afraid of returning home a failure...but I dont dance, i dont socialize...I dont even have an interest in girls...im...im sorry..." he felt his face grow hot. He was getting too personal.

Justyn's sly smile vanished and he turned to look over his shoulder at Rab. Killlllllll he thought moraly. "Uh huh.. well ah-" he turned back to face her, "I see, May I start again?"

"Nope" Luci laughed, "I like the lines, I didn't say they were good though" she teased.

Luci wrinkled her nose, "You need a hobby. A different hobby."

Rab laughed, "I dunno. You see that guy over there?" he pointed to Justyn, "Thinks he's a God, he's the loser here. And that guy?" he pointed to Alucard, "That's my brother. Alucard, I doubt he's gonna get anyone 'cause he doesn't talk much, and he's kinda scary lookin' I mean the narrow yellow and gold eyes, the black hair...." Rab said attempting to downsize Alucard...

...it wasn't working.

Alexandra walked into the Main Hall. She leaned against a wall and watched everyone silently.

Justyn laughed, "Yeah? Okay, so my friend back there used this one once." he put his hand on his chin and got a serious expression, "You look like the type of girl that has heard every line in the book, so what’s one more?"

Phineas looked at both of them, and concluded that he couldnt agree with Rab. To him, they were a god. He couldnt stop staring. Finally he said "Its...its so unfair..."

"Eh?" Rab questioned,"What's not fair?"

"Well. Not sure I'm understanding that one." she said hesitantly. Luci's eyes flashed over to a girl that had just walked into the hall, observing everyone quietly.

Justyn shrugged, "I don't get it either, but it didn't work." he said and followed her gaze.

"They...they look amazing! No wonder...theyll be taken in no time..." he looked down nervously, knowing how weird he sounded. "Please excuse me...im just nervous"

Luci tried not grin, "Have lines ever worked on girls for you?"

"Seriously, don't worry about it, I'm in a cold sweat over here." Rab said nervously and rubbed the back of his head.

Alucard spun her gantly then returned his gental hand to her upper waist. He thought deeply for a moment, then answered, "I like to watch People, like childern playing. My mother working..."

"No not at all Phineas." Rab said and smiled, "Infact, it's a lot more comfortable for me to be talking to you then dancing with some girl."

"People watching, huh?" I smiled, nodding. "I do that sometimes. But only at dusk, when the lighting's perfect. Or in the rain- even though there really aren't..."

Alucard looked up, "You have a nice voice." he said quietly and guided her along in the dance.

"No" said Luci, searching for the right word, "I find you kind of...Charming" she blushed, avoiding his eyes.

"Charming eh?" Justyn murmmurred to himself and spotted Alucard already dancing with a farily attractive girl, he looked at Luci, "Luci, would you liek to dance with me?"

He smiled. Thats exactly what he wanted to hear

Alucard examined her face, and her mask. He wondered if the mask was random... or if it pertained to her personality...

"Yes...erm..." he had this weird, compelling feeling to put the moves on Rab, but was bringing home a guy a bad thing here? He didnt really want to find out, or even get disappointed if Rab didnt like him back
