This post is just for remembering 9/11, ten years ago. For anyone that doesn't know, The World Trade Center was destroyed by 2 planes flown by terreorists, and many many people died that day.

Yes...my best friend's father died in 9/11 as a firefighter...he rescued a woman and then died in the flames...I went to Ground Zero with her today...

I dunno about you guys but a mosque at ground zero just made sense to me...to me, it shows that we as Americans can be forgiving, and we dont want to discriminiate against Muslims who arent like terrorists, we value their culture...some people have problems with that, and I get it, but...

I'm so late in posting this... but I... just cried when it all had happened, I tearing as I even speak...
I've been to Ground Zero a few years ago.It was impossible to believe that there was anything at all...
I pray for all those who had died and the firefighters who died trying to save others, may God bless them all...

Those same guys made me want to be a firefighter

Well in Guyana there's probably a handfull of female fighters and dad doesn't want me hanging around a firestation fullof guys, for one reason.

And they tease me that if I did become one the house would burn to the ground since I'm almost always late...

Besides I don't think they'll want a firefighter in the family...I dunno but all I know I'm not gonna be one any time soon
