The Riyria Revelations discussion

So, I've been getting so much pressure from people wanting to read Percepliquis that I've been working on getting it "out there" and Orbit has agreed. Here's what they are doing....

They made a facebook page and posted the first chapter of each book (including Percepliquis). If you go to that page and like it you can read chapter 1 - which is a GREAT chapter.

When milestones are met for "likes" they will release the next chapter. Right now we only need 26 more likes to get Chapter two posted. So even if you don't want to start reading now, please go and like the page to help out your fellow Riyria fans that do want to read before the book is released.

Nobody has read it? Or just didn't like it? Come on guys I need to know. Even if you hate it some feedback is better than none.

I didn't read it yet & won't. I started to, then changed my mind. I'm waiting for the final book - signed by you, like the other 5 I have. Actually, I'm planning on re-reading the entire series then. Not only did I read the first book out of order at Robin's request (book 2 & then 1), but I read them while looking for errors - not just for fun. This time through will be for fun & I'm saving the last book as a special dessert.

Fair enough. Thanks for letting me know. Reading from the beginning will give you some excellent perspective as you should pick up some things you didn't first time around - as you know more now then when you started.

I have downloaded the new first chapter for book 1 and for Percepliquis, but I haven't had time to read them yet; real life seems to get in the way. I am looking forward to reading them when I have a chance.

I promised myself I was going to wait, but I caved. It was awesome, as expected, and everything the other books have been, going by this small sample. I can't wait for the whole book to come out.

@Crlissa - no worries thanks for letting me know.
@Rodney - "awesome" is good - It is by far the best book in the series. Been trying to get Orbit to do an "early release" on Percepliquis but they can't make all the planets align the way they need to with production. Oh well it's really not "That much" longer.

Sorry, Michael, but there are still too many months before the book comes out. Maybe if we were a couple of weeks from its release, but right now that's not the case. It's painful enough waiting for it without allowing myself a sneak peek! ;-)

@Heather - I understand completely!! Thanks for letting me know. For those that are "waiting" it would be great if you liked the page anyway as it would help get Chapter 3 for people who are sneaking a peek.

I've read the first chapter so far and love it! I definitely will have to go back and re-read the series though to refresh my memory on some of the characters.

@Carlissa - thanks for letting me know - glad you liked it. Having the last book come out 9 months later than scheduled does make it more likely you'll want to re-read - but I do drop a ton of "hints" along the line and the book does have a glossary now so that should help.

Oh I love the first chapters!!!! Lenare is awesome and I adore Arista, she is one of my all time favourite heroines. I tried waiting until January to read the whole book but I slipped. The books are just too addictive.

Thank you Julia - I'm REALLY happy with how the whole book came out. I know it is hard for you all to wait - but try doing it from this side of the fence - torture....absolute torture.
