It has been a while since this section has seen any action. Do you have any awesome books you've read lately that you'd like to recommend?

So, so many awesome books! Daughter of Smoke and Bone is worth the read! As is Green Rider.

Ok so I am seriously stuck for book ideas, any help? Last book I read was Divergent, and the one before that was Green Rider. Please take pity on a poor, starving bookworm.

You should look up the book Finding Sky by Joss Stirling. It's one of my favorites

I'm going away for just under two months and I can only take a few books with me because I'm staying in a small caravan and I can't decide which of Maria's books to take with me. Help me please?

yeah, but I get lonely without hard copies of at least some of my books

Poison study!! Its one of my most Favourite of MVS's books!! Its literally what got me into reading!!! And Shadow study? It was also so good!!!! And how about Fire study? That one was so absolutely spectacular!!! And the Touch of Power!!! <3333 Kerrick!!!
Actually you know what? If you ask me, I'll just tell you to take them all XD Sorry i cant be of any help!!

I re-read all of Avery's books last week (I was supposed to be writing an essay but who cares) and I'd forgotten how many feels those three books have!! And how sassy and badass Avery can be.

But you're right that doesn't help me

Hmmm so take all of them with you on your ereader. And take your signed books with you for comfort ;)

Oh I'll be taking my kindle with me, don't worry about that! But that's a good idea Renee! Plus my signed copies are smaller than my reading copies!

Now to decide what other books I'll take which aren't on my kindle?

If i were you, id take Sarah J Mass's books!! The Throne of glass series was really good!!

I read the first two but I'm only half way through the third

I think the fourth one is the best if them... Tell me when you finish it!!

I dunno, I couldn't get past the half way mark of book 3. I kind of got disillusioned with Celeana by that point

Yep. I got to the part where his tattoos are sort of explained but didn't get any further.

I just don't connect to Celeana anymore. I definetly prefer Yelena or Avry as a character

Yes thank you! The more I read of Throne of Glass, the less I like Celeana...
It turns more and more in a romance instead of ya fantasy.... Everyone has a 'partner'...
And noone just loves... Everyone keeps questioning everyone....
The only one who truely 'loved' was Sam...

I did like the action in the first book, but love triangles just do my head in! If Chaol and Dorian had just been her friends I would have liked it even more than I did.

I hope I'll survive. I hope my books will survive being abandoned by me! And I've added two more books which I had forgotten about: Clariel by Garth Nix and The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. Can't believe I almost forgot them!
