Hunger Games Trilogy discussion

"Hello there lovely tributes, and welcome to the 79th annual hunger game!! We've got such lovely surprises in store for you all, and we both know you will enjoy them! Ever been to Egypt? Well I thought so, but I know you've all heard about the Nile! Well guess what kiddies, we've got a good slice of it right here for you all to play in!

Her you have your river, filled with large angry crocodiles, as per custom, and a.nice large desert to surround you. On one side of the river we have a nice rocky terrain.

And on the other side we have this beautiful desert sprinkled with a few oasis of palm trees and such.

Now kiddies just remember that the only fresh water is at the river, infested with crocodiles. Have fun and may the odds be ever in your favor!!


RULES!!!!
-Only Jess and I are allowed to post in bold.
-No crazy stunts like "Danny pulls out his.mystical shovel, kills everyone, and wins." No, no, no, no. You will be disqualified.
-Dont anger Jess and I. We can't kill you, due to random.org's non-bias state, but we'll mess your tributes up!
-if you do not RP your charrie for more than three days, you're disqualified.
-To kill another person, you must state your wish to do so, and who against, then Jess or I will have you pick a number between 1 and 500. The person closest to the number chosen on random.org gets to RP out the death of the other.
-After the first two days of rping, if you do anything involving jumping off your platform and swimming over to the cornucopia, Sami will be very unhappy. You don't want Sami unhappy.
-HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

The second the horn sounded, Alec's legs exploded off the platform. He brought his hands together, tucking his head down as he dove into the water. His finger tips made contact first, diving in deep as he worked his way through the cool water, perfect strokes getting him across first. He pulled himself out of the water, his eyes darted to his back where the rest of the tributes laid far behind him. He glanced around at his surroundings, water dripping down his body. He spotting a few palm trees and piles of gritty sand. Desert. He muttered, recognizing the place immediately. Alec dashed towards the Cornucopia, short of breath as the scorching heat dried his opened mouth.Just a few more steps! he thought to himself, the heaps of warm, plunging sand making it hard to run as it stuck to his sides. As he neared, Alec spotted a crossbow and arrows first. He didn't want them, but wouldn't risk leaving them behind for someone else. The second he was in reached, he snatched up the cross bow and arrows. He also managed to grab a large grey bag, two hand guns and a pair of twin swords that he quickly adjusted to his back. Alec looked back at the approaching tributes. Damn! He didn't have much time and couldn't handle too much weight, it would only slow him down. He glanced back once more and grabbed another small bag before he darted away towards a large boulder. He'd wait for his allies there, he decided.

((samino didn't you say not to run to the cornucopia first?))

Syd doesn't even even hesitate as she dives in towards the Cornucopia. She's in and out before anyone even knows she's gone, grabbing a backpack full of food, medical supplies and a blanket (nights in the desert can be brutal). She spots a knife and matches on her way out and snaches them up too. Her plan is only to grab the necessities, make it out before the others, and meet up with the rest of her alliance in a safe location. As she reaches the edge she surveys the scene unfolding....its hard to even recognize her alliance, but she's confident they will make it out alive. Syd sneaks away unnoticed in search of fresh water...knowing danger is sure to be around every corner....

Syd positions herself behind a boulder. She spots Cara swimming towards her, careful not to startle her knowing everyone will be on edge, "its just me, Syd" she says getting Caras attention. The two partner together and watch for the rest of their alliance.

((naw they're inside the floodgates as well, so..... HAVE FUN!!))

Alec spotted Cara and Syd and shook his head, waving them over instead. They were out in the open and he wasn't going to risk going back over there. He was perfectly safe hidden behind the large boulder.

Alice heard the gong sound and sprinted to the water. Just to be impressive she did a flip then twisted in the air and landed in a perfect dive. She immediately swam her fastest to the cornucopia. she reached it and grabbed a canteen of water, some knives, a bag of food, and a spiked mace. ((hehehehhe >:) )) She dove back in and saw Cara and Syd swimming toward the desert. She felt better now that she had found them. She was about to call out to them when she felt the jaws clamp onto her leg. "Ahhhblblblbgrglegrle!" Alice was dragged down into the water. She kicked hard at wat she knew was a crocidile. Then she rememvered the mace. She swung it with all her might at the beast and it released her but as it did she heard a ripping sound and experienced the worst pain imaginable. Bloody and bedraggled Alice swam for her life despite the awful pain she was experiencing. She finally reached the shore and Cara and Syd. "Hel-" that was all she could manage. She looked down at her leg, except there wasnt one. That was when she passed out. She had lost her left leg.

The crocodile snickered to himself, in an almost human like manor as he.took her leg back to his mate to share.

((Wow....that was pretty scaryy.. !))

Alec raced to Cara's side, tossing her his bag as he bent down and pulled Alice over his shoulders. "Come on!" he shouted. "We need to get away from here!" he said, walking back towards the shelter of the boulder, Alice blood seeping into his side.

((Ya there are alligators every where, so that way they can't just to to the flood gate area to St water, and that there's always.danger.))

Alec nodded. "Check my bag, it might have a med kit." he said, crouching low behind the boulder as he carefully set Alice down. He stared down at his blood covered hands, his insides twisting. Get a hold of yourself! he thought, shaking his head vigorously.

"Choose a side of the isle kiddies, cos' once you pick one, if you wanna get back you have to dive through the water again!" the loudspeaker blared.

Alec quickly unrolls the bandages, folding them together. "Lift her leg." he says, tearing the bandages with his teeth. No time to look for scissors, he thought bitterly.

((Now for Ezmereldous))
Ezmerldous was excited for swimming. He evn had his favorite bathing suit shipped from home to wear for the start of the games. It had little caterpillars on it. He heard the gong sound and cannonballed into the water. He was doggie paddling and splashing around having fun when he saw a pretty little crocodile.he thought it was a pony. "Hello weird pony!" he said bobbing up and down. " I want pony ride!" and with a squeal of excitement he jumped on its back. The crocodile reared up and started splashing around. All the while Ezmereldous was having a great time. "WEEEEEEEEE!!!!" he shouted happily. "Now ride Zumba!" He had decided he liked the name Zumba. The crocodile jetted Toward the cornucopia and as it passed it Ezmereldous jumped off his back and onto the cornucopia. He grabbed some carving knives for his new tree, a tarp,a hunk of meatt for Zumba, a bottle of napalm, and a bottle of water. He whistled his best whistle towards Zumba and suprisingly enough the crocodile came over. He jumped on the crocodile and rode it towards the desert with the weird trees with big leaves and brown nuts growing at the top. He got to the sand and jumped off his ride. Zumba looked at him playfully and wagged his big tale. Ezmereldous tossed Zumba the chunk of meat he grabbed and Zumba swam off happily. Ezmereldous made a b-line for the pretty trees.

Syd keeps watch as the others tend to Alice. She Darts quickly along the waters edge trying to get a sense of where the others are. These crocs have done a doozie....a torn up foot floats to the surface nearby...alice's foot....

((No idea, but lets choose the palm tree side. More shelter ! ))

Alec tightly tied the bandages high up on her left thigh then looked up at Cara and Syd. "I saw some palms trees earlier. Wanna go there?" he asked, strapping his bag to his back.

"Sounds like a plan." Alec says, bending down to lift Alice up again. "We need to hurry. Hopefully our other allies will have the same idea." he says, starting to jog towards the scattered trees.

Alice had a slight sense of reality. She saw Alec and Cara at her side and knew she had alligned with the right people
She slowly turned her head and opened one eye. She saw her own foot rise to the top of the water and passed out again.
