Well, currently I'm hooked on Starcraft II and Spore, but I'm looking for another game. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm into computer games, myself. One I've found really addictive is called Civilization III. Ever heard of it?

Civ IV is too confusing. I find it too much for li'l ol' me. I can spend hours playing it!

Civ is a superb game. You should try Civ 5, they made it simpler than Civ 4. If you like strategy, you can find many more such games, like Age of Empires/mythology, Empire Earth (these are old though). But turn-based games are rare. Try CnC (its modern)
BIOSHOCK is awesome!! How is Portal? I wanna play it.

Zoo and Rollercoaster Tycoon are also cool..
I used to play Runescape on the net. But now its kinda outdated...much better games available

PORTAL 2 IS ARGUABLY THE BEST IN COMEDY/GAMES/PUZZLES.


MW2 IS BEST IN TERMS OF GAMEPLAY/SHOOTING/BLOOD/MORE BLOOD/ EVEN MORE BLOOD/ AND SHOOTING CHIKCENS.


I'm hooked on Crisis Core. Even though I finished it.

And Portal 1 and 2. WHY NOT A 3? I MEAN, SURE, THE ENDING TO 2 MADE IT OBVIOUS THAT THERE'S NO 3, BUT STILL! WHY END A AWESOME SERIES OF GAMES?


Garry's Mod is funny. Bioshock... That's creepy to me.

Sonic Generations. I KNO RIGHT? A NEW AWESOME SONIC GAME! YAY

Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Yes, it's boring after a while. But I HACKED/MODDED it. AS in, Shadow the Hedgehog = PWNEDGE. I think I saw a Chell mod somewhere.

There are many awesome games in FPS- Call of Duty, Medal of Honour, Battlefield.
Other shooters like Maxpayne, Gears of War are also good.
Bioshock is real creepy..
Dragon Age is real AWESOME. Its a loong game. The story, plot decisions and characters are amazing!

It's an amazing game. Premise: You're the king/ruler/emperor/whatever of a powerful civilization, like the Aztec, England, India, China, France, USA, and more. Each has their own prominent figure who is your 'avatar,' so to speak (Montezuma II, Elizabeth I, Gandhi, Mao, Joan of Arc, Lincoln, respectively). You build your civilization from the ground up, at (correct me if I'm wrong) 2000 BC. You establish allies, make war, expand your territory until 2050 AD. That's when the game ends.

There're many ways to win (in Civ III, that is. I dunno 'bout IV or V). You must: be the supreme ruler of the world, own over 70% of the population (or something like that), dominate by culture (by building world wonders like the Colossus or the Hanging Gardens), or build a rocket and colonize another planet, Alpha Centauri. I personally have only won by culture, and cant' wait to see if I can build a space ship (Apollo Program).

It's SO MUCH FUN! watch out for the addictiveness, though. Time flies when you're playing Civilization.

Haha, yeah. One minute, you're in BC, the next you're building the World Trade Center, and you look up and it's three in the morning.

In Civ IV its just as bad. I haven't played enough Civ III to know how addictive it is, but you can do so much at once in IV.

IV gets confusing, and I have a soft spot for III. :)

Really, you must try this game. In fact I think everyone here should try this game. Its graphics are real good, considering when this game was made.
Its FREE the download is completely legal. And its only 61mb in size.
Spare 2-3 hours on it and you may even get addicted to it.

I have played Civ III and IV, and bits of V.

@Flame
Civ 3 - its basic and easy to understand. You can start here and learn easily.
Civ 4 - this gets bit more advanced. Its larger in size.
Civ 5 - its graphics are best.
All three have basically the same concept.
So, start with Civ 3.

MW2 has an epic story. And I think MW3 may even surpass that.
I have played only L4D. How is part 2?? Part 1 didnt have a proper story

The Left 4 Dead Games don't follow a story period. It's like this. Click the shortcut. Press Singleplayer. Select your character. Level. Then your stage. Play. However, it does HAVE a story somewhat. If you follow it through Stage 1-6, it's a story.


I don't think Makorov will get killed in MW3. HOORAY FOR SOAP AND PRICE.

I liked its style. Is there gore in L4D 2? Havent played gore for some time. The chainsaw looks awesome.

Yeah, it's got plenty of gore, L4D2. It wouldn't be a Left 4 Dead game without it. Chainsaw sucks, really. It runs on gas, so... BLAH.


I got the DID YOU SEE THAT? Achivement in MW2. Throw a knife while flashbanged and get it to hit your target. BOOM.

Because of the whole WWII incident. Besides, Activision made a good reason to put them as the bad guy. Actually, they're both good. Makorov is just using them.

I played MW2 'almost' 2 years ago. I dunno whats my best achievement.
Do you play racing games?

A little. For handhelds. Midnight Club LA Remix is my top.

For PC, none. I play FPS TPS, and Action, and Stealth. NEVER FORGET IT. I want MGS4 SO BAD. Also, I want Spider-Man, Shattered Dimensions. It looks cool enough for me.

You should try Most Wanted. Its old, but it defined the new era of NFS!! :)
Even I want Metal Gear. F.E.A.R looks awesome.
