message 15: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) “Give sorrow words. The grief that does not speak whispers the o'er-fraught heart, and bids it break.”

“My grief lies all within, And these external manners of lament Are merely shadows to the unseen grief That swells with silence in the tortured soul”

-Shakespeare

message 20: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Yes. I'm sad though I've only seen like three episodes. I really need to watch more....

message 21: by Mary (new)

Mary Findley | 42 comments We just saw the episode about Agatha Christie's disappearance. Doesn't have Rose, so disappointing, but still great!

message 22: by jillian n. (new)

jillian n. (attolis) THERE'S AN EPISODE ABOUT AGATHA CHRISTIE'S DISAPPEARANCE??!!!??!?
this is too much for me, me who is unable to watch Doctor Who, to withstand.....

excuse me, I need to go wallow in self-pity now.

message 23: by Mary (new)

Mary Findley | 42 comments So sorry to add to your misery, Lady-Nessima! If it makes you feel any better, we missed half the episode. :-)

message 24: by jillian n. (new)

jillian n. (attolis) I'll get over it...... someday.... I hope.....

message 25: by Mary (new)

Mary Findley | 42 comments Dr. Who can be so much fun. Though I read a book about him that was really pretty grim and gruesome, not to mention rather objectionable. Anyone know if the books tend to be that way more than the show? It was about Ben Johnson, an alien convention, and the missing Roanoke colony, which sounded like a winning combination to me, but, really, ewww.

message 26: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Have you heard about the Christmas episode?
The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. Sounds like Narnia going to be in it.

message 27: by Mary (new)

Mary Findley | 42 comments Saw a commercial for that, but Dr. Who is seldom kind to Christianity, so I don't know what to think about it.

message 28: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) me either..like in Gridlock..but then again, The Christmas Carol was a Christian book too. i really really hope it's good because i love both DW and Narnia, so if they're in conflict...i don't know..

I haven't read any of the books, i didn't even know there were books.

so you saw the Agatha Christie one? not my fave, i wish it had been better, after all, it had Agatha Christie in it!
