Richard Due (richarddue) My name is Richard Due, I'm an independent bookseller, founder of an independent press, and now an indie author.

Here's my book:

Gibbering Gnome Press Presents a Tale of Epic Fantasy

For Lily and Jasper Winter, the Moon Realm began with a single secret bedtime tale. As the children grew older, Uncle Ebb enthralled them with thrilling tales of the Dragondain riding horse-sized, catlike Rinn; mysterious tales of peerin-wielding lunamancers manipulating the magic that lies just beneath the surface of reality; exciting tales of flying dragons, swimming merfolk, stomping giants, and troublesome faeries. But as the magic of their childhood faded, so too did the tales. Eventually, they were just . . . good stories.

Or were they?

Now, nine years after it all began, Uncle Ebb is missing.

Lily and Jasper search for clues, but their uncle's mansion is full of distractions. A Tesla generator thrums in the basement. Prismatic electrimals flit around walls resembling underwater reefs. Then a most unexpected friend comes to their aid, leading them to a hidden room where they find a mysterious coin—the moon coin. Before the night is out, Lily is transported to the real Moon Realm. But the moons are in trouble. The Rinn of Barreth are under siege, and the lunamancers of Dain are beset by the very dragons they once loved. Most horrifying of all, the moon Darwyth has fallen to a villain named Wrengfoul, whose creeping evil now threatens to overshadow all the Realm.

Are Lily and Jasper too late to save the Moon Realm, or will they have enough time to write an ending of their own?

Featuring twenty-two stunning full-color illustrations by Carolyn Arcabascio. Volume One of the young adult fantasy adventure series The Moon Realm.

TheMoonRealm.com

$2.99 at Barnes & Noble., Amazon, and the iBookstore.

Irene Pynn (irenelpynn) | 9 comments Hi! Just joined the group and wanted to get started sharing. :) I have a YA fantasy with a Romeo and Juliet theme. The print version will be available soon, but for now it's up on Amazon and Smashwords for digital release.

From Light to Dark by Irene L. Pynn

“Her voice was like flower petals falling on wet grass.”

Eref is about to die. He sits at the End of Light World, accepting his stoning execution one rock at a time, until the impossible happens: the ground opens up beneath him, and he drops down into the unknown.

There, he meets Caer, a kind-hearted girl from Dark World who saves his life. Together, the pair forms an unlikely and illegal bond that not even the strongest hatred can break. But can their connection bring down the evil institution that has kept Light World and Dark World at odds for hundreds of years?

J.Z. Colby (nebador) Hi Everyone,

One of my GoodReads friends invited me. This looks like a fun group. I also pop into the Dumbledore's Army group sometimes, as there's a special place in my heart for Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and the rest of the gang.

I don't read much right now as I'm kept very busy writing the NEBADOR series, and I'm working on a special gift for young adults that will come out in January, part story and part survival guide. It will be free to (or for) any YA, and I'll post a message when it's ready.

Be well!

Susan Quinn (susan_kaye_quinn) Hello all, my name is Susan Kaye Quinn, and I've been a fan of science fiction since I first read Heinlein’s Foundation series as a kid. I was always a math/science geek, but science fiction made me a literary lover too. I grew up to be a serious engineer (worked for NASA, got a Ph.D.), but I was drawn back to stories, and now I write them for children and teens. I have one published teen love story (Life, Liberty, and Pursuit) and my new paranormal/science fiction novel Open Minds just came out.

Julie Prestsater (juliepbooks) | 5 comments Heeeeyyy!

My name is Julie Prestsater and I write contemporary YA with romantic elements. I was so excited to find this group because not only do I write YA, but I'm a huge YA reader. I'd probably get a lot more writing done if I didn't read so much. :)

I'm also a high school reading intervention teacher. I've always wanted to write and enjoyed any type of creative writing in school, but I didn't start writing seriously until I caught the bug to write for my students. Almost all of my students are struggling and reluctant readers but will sure pick up a book if it has characters who speak, act, and look like them. So I set out to write novels with their interests in mind. And it's worked. They're reading. Yay!

What I've written:

The Double Threat Series-
So I'm A Double Threat
A hopeful Megan Miller begins high school anticipating hot sex on the fifty yard line of the football field, living it up at parties, and ruling the ninth grade with her besties.

Double Threat My Bleep
Tenth grader Megan Miller doesn’t feel like such a double threat anymore.

You Act So White(standalone novel)
You Act So White jumps head first into the life of Gabriela Fierro, a high school senior who is on the verge of either getting jumped by a group of irritating chola wannabes or beating the crap out of her high-strung possibly racist friend.

I'd love to do an interview and some ebook giveaways. If you're interested, send me a message. :D

Looking forward to finding some great YA reads to add to my selection.

See you on the discussion boards,

Julie

M.A. Leslie (MALeslie) | 3 comments Hello everyone,

Some of you are our Goodreads friends and others just share a passion for paranormal and magic. Either way, hey!

Life has been crazy, aside from the writing, and we haven't really had a chance to get on here to say hello. I don't know how many people realize it, but M.A. Leslie, is two people.

My wife, Amy and I write under one pen name. Writing has been a life long goal for both of us and alone we never finished anything. But after I got sick, we found the time to write. It started as a way to pass the time...

Together though, we have written several books.

We seem to love the paranormal genre more than anything else, read and write.

Anyway, We just wanted to take a minute, say hello, and let you know that we would love to have you read our books. They are only 99 cents each and we love them and the characters in them.

Check them out if you are interested or stop by the author's page. We would love to have you see what they are about.

While on a backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, nineteen-year-old Maddie Pearce finds her world has been thrown into a vortex and is madly spinning toward the impossible. Abducted by a mad psychopath, Maddie narrowly escapes with her life. But that is only the beginning. Her mysterious rescuer introduces her to a world that Maddie has difficulty accepting as reality. Will this strikingly gorgeous stranger be the key to her future or will she return to her mundane world, scarred from her experience? Follow Maddie as she is forced to make difficult decisions that carry her to mysterious places only to find that perhaps it was all for nothing.

Survival, a YA paranormal romance (Book 1 of The Guardians of Vesturon Series) by A.M. Hargrove
