Does anyone have any recommendations...? I am in such a major reading slump, I find I am just re-re-re-reading my faves... Does anyone know of other books like Outlander, or Into the Wilderness?

I need a meatier book, but with definate romance, and history.. I haven't had much luck locating one.

Regina (reginar) Shell have you seen these websites?

http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/

http://www.fictiondb.com/author/ifyou...

Or what about continuing series you really liked but haven't had a chance to do?

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) There's also www.yournextread.com

It lets you plug in a book and will give you a circle of other books that readers of that book voted on and felt were others you'd enjoy if you liked that one. Then you can click on one of those books and get others from there, etc.

I don't read a lot of heavy duty historical fiction or I'd probably try to be more help.

Regina (reginar) Funny that there are so many sites dedicated to the same thing! The top link I posted above is the same as Stacia's in a way.

I also saw these lists here on GR:

Dianne (des03) | 30 comments I absolutely loved Into the Wilderness series - all six books were incredibly good. I read the first four books in the Outlanders series and lost interest in them but loved Sara Donati's series!

I have just read Maya Banks highlander books (book 3 to be released on 25/10/11) they were fabulous. I am currently reading Johanna Lindsey's Vikings series which I haven't been able to put down. I have one book to go in that series.
