Jennifer (ivashkovlover) I was the opposite I thought Ren was a jerk at first and then at the end of Nightshade I liked him. Then during Wolfsbane I didn't like him again because of the way he acted when Calla came to try to save him. I don't hate him but I think Shay is better for Calla and that Calla truly loves Shay. I think Calla just feels responsible for ruining Ren's life and that she is mourning who she always thought was going to be her husband but was never her choice.

that makes total sense. calla's only thinking about ren all the time because she feels guilty about leaving him behind and moving on.

Ren is actually pretty nice in Nightshade, its the next two books where he goes wacko. Calla is pretty much wacko throughout the whole series xD
