Andela had had at least 5 shots of vodka as she waited for Violet, Rowell, and Derek. She could tell that she looked sober and acted like it but the alcohol made her dizzy. Andela felt horrid and drunk.
Violet waved hi to the bartender. She took a seat and saw Andela. "Andela? What are you doing here?"
She ordered Malibu with pineapple mixed into it. The bartender was her friend so she added a bit of tequila in it without charge. Violet sipped it with a straw. "Be careful. It looks like you're going to crash any second. You look depressed."
"Oh, it's not like it matters. Everytime I have a break-up, I go out and get drunk. It takes a lot to get me there."
"What the hell else was I suppose to do, Violet? Stay with him, knowing that he doesn't truly love me? Knowing that somewhere in the near future he'll break my heart?" Andela snorted, then began to giggle. Her giggle was high pitched.
She raised her eyebrows. "Oh my goodness, you are cracked-drunk. But, he only did that with me, not you." She drank her drink.
Rowell came in with Derek. "There they are."
Rowell came in with Derek. "There they are."
"Whatever. I'm always like this. Just to no ones face till I start drinking." Andela rolled her eyes and asked for another shot.
Rowell came over. "Sister. Red. Derek's here."
Violet choked on her drink. If that was possible. "HE IS?!"
Violet choked on her drink. If that was possible. "HE IS?!"
Rowell sits down on the left side as Derek walked over to them. Violet turned her turned her seat to face the bar.
Andela glares at Derek full on as he walks over. Derek mental cringed when he say Andela drunk and Violet turned away from him. This was going to severly unpleasant.
"I already told him about our plan." Rowell whispers. "But we need a good strategy."
"How about the council leaders from both sides have a talk?" Violet suggested, still turning away from him.
"How about the council leaders from both sides have a talk?" Violet suggested, still turning away from him.
Violet shakes her head. "You're drunk. Next time, I'm never giving a Red beer."
"Vodka, beer, whatever. They still get you drunk."
"And you wouldn't want to get dizzy if you're a Red in a Black town." Rowell whispers.
"And you wouldn't want to get dizzy if you're a Red in a Black town." Rowell whispers.
Rowell looked like a lightbulb went off in his head. "I have a plan: Let's send anonymous invitations to the council members from each side, Red and Back, saying that there is an important meeting. It's not until we get there that they'll find out we set them up. So instead of fighting they'll be actually talking."
Violet raised the corner of her lips smiling. Rowell cocked his head. "What?"
"The Council members in Town Black, never go unarmed to anything. Plus, they're all gifted in fighting. Hand-to-Hand." Derek piped in quietly.
She looked down on the ground when she heard him talking. "I guess you're right."
"Good, you know the strategies of the Black clan. Helpful." Rowell smiles.
"Good, you know the strategies of the Black clan. Helpful." Rowell smiles.
Derek tried to catch Violet's eye but, couldn't since she was looking down.Andela calms her giggles and rightens herself on the chair.
"Someone give this enchantress a spell to stop being drunk."
Violet played with the silver bracelet on her wrist.
Violet played with the silver bracelet on her wrist.
"She's back." Rowell says.
"Um, can I have more?" She asked the bartender, handing her the empty glass.
"Um, can I have more?" She asked the bartender, handing her the empty glass.
The bartender gave all of them their drinks. "So, all four of you guys on a double date?"
Violet choked on her drink, if that was possible. "No!"
Violet choked on her drink, if that was possible. "No!"
"Heck no just friends."
The bartender nodded. "Never seen them before here. They're new Blacks, Vi?"
"Yeup." She eyes them. "They're new."
The bartender nodded. "Never seen them before here. They're new Blacks, Vi?"
"Yeup." She eyes them. "They're new."
The bartender left to some other customers. Violet turned around to face Rowell and actually faced Derek for the first time. "Um, any ideas? We don't have much time. Me and Rowell are . . ."
Violet grins. "That would be ultimately easy, but they'll be angry."
"I guess that'll work. We might run into a little danger, but who's up for it?" Rowell asked.
Violet raised her hand. "Danger's fine with me."
Violet raised her hand. "Danger's fine with me."
She takes her knife out of her boots and layed them on the counter. Rowell raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?"
"Cleaning them, obviously."
"Cleaning them, obviously."
As Rowell was helping Andela, Violet looked at Derek, still not looking straight in his eyes. "Problem?"
"Then why are you looking at me?"
"How do you know that I am if you won't look at me?"Andela totally collapsed onto Rowell. "Do not ever mention this to anyone. Ever." she slurred
