I have just finished a very good historical thriller set in Cambridge, England during the reign of Henry II.

I have now started , also very good. I read a hundred pages just last night. Problem, I got the book out of the library and it smells of someones bad perfume or the deodorizer for a public bathroom. I really like the book but can not take this smell. It is a good attestation as to how good the book is that I kept reading.

I started Wildflower Hill over the weekend, It's really got me hooked! I read the first 150 pages before I new it! I'm really enjoying this so far, I'm about half way through it and I just love novels like this that go back and forth between past and present, I love both the female characters so much but especially Beattie!! Has anyone else read this?
