I really wanted to start a monthly reading group with you fellow artists and art lovers. If you have art or artist related books to nominate for October, please post them here. We'll see how this goes and maybe vote somehow in a couple of days. :)

So what do you guys think about the book so far?

My library system is being slow so I still haven't got the book yet...I'll probably have it by Wednesday, though. :)
Do you think we could extend this book read through a portion of November?

Sure, it already is set to end on Nov 15th. Use whatever time you need, though.

Well, I'm enjoying the book so far...a little more than half way through. I'm not sure the artist Nicholas character is very convincing. But, other than that it's alright.

I enjoyed reading about the weavers and their various situations/perspectives. I was pleased with the ending. This book would make a great little daytime movie. But, overall, I thought it a little silly...or shallow in terms of both the characters and storyline. I'm glad I read it.

Yep...we didn't have too many people join in, but maybe the next one will be more active. I'm working on two books right now already, but if you want to start another group read, I'll try to work it in. :)
