I really wanted to start a monthly reading group with you fellow artists and art lovers. If you have art or artist related books to nominate for October, please post them here. We'll see how this goes and maybe vote somehow in a couple of days. :)

My library system is being slow so I still haven't got the book yet...I'll probably have it by Wednesday, though. :)

Well, I'm enjoying the book so far...a little more than half way through. I'm not sure the artist Nicholas character is very convincing. But, other than that it's alright.
I enjoyed reading about the weavers and their various situations/perspectives. I was pleased with the ending. This book would make a great little daytime movie. But, overall, I thought it a little silly...or shallow in terms of both the characters and storyline. I'm glad I read it.
