I am undertaking a new project thanks to the boyfriend :) He brought me a large 3 ring binder from his work and I have decided to turn it into a recipe book. Years ago, I took loose leaf note book paper and a glue stick and created recipe book out of all the magazine recipes I had cut out over the years and had not made because I could never find them. I still don't use it much because I forget about it.

This time,I am gathering all of the recipes I have printed off of Foodnetwork, here and the like. I know many of you may just email them to your selves or keep files on fave sites, but since I don't have a computer at home, I HAVE to print them all. So, I am going to hunt down every one of the recipes in the house, make sure I don't have duplicates, and get supplies.

I am going to get page sleeves (those clear plastic sleeves that will hold 2 pages),tab dividers, and have fun. I hope to also be able to use the page sleeves to finally have a place for all of those recipes that have been sent to me by companies over the years and the ones I have cut off of boxes. With the page sleeve, not only will I be able to have the recipe on the counter and not have to worry about spills, but I can change them as needed or even throw them out.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, I have completed said project. I went to Target and they have their own brand of office supplies. I was able to get to pkgs. of page protectors for around $7 which gave me 100 of them. Since I could put recipes in double sided, I have extras. I even was able to fit in the ones from magazines and newspapers as well. I have dividers that a little too short, but that's o.k. The mess is contained!

(cue Heavenly choir!)
