Mostly for Yumsies' benefit. Here ya go:

The latest series, produced with excellent CGI animation and action sequences, it follows the design of the Live Action Movies very closely, and is supposed to take the best parts out of the different Transformers Series (for this reason, you will find that it has many Generation One and Live-Action Fil influences, with a couple of Animated ones).
Optimus and his Autobots are trapped on Earth with no ship to leave, it is then that Megatron arrives and begins another great Transformers War!

T H E A U T O B O T S

Optimus Prime
Voiced by Peter Cullen.
The robot who would become Optimus Prime was a lowly data clerk, but it wasn't until he heard of a rogue gladiator named Megatron and his call for an upheaval of Cybertron's society that he realized he was unsatisfied with his lot in life. Freedom to make your own choice should be the right of all sentient beings! Little did he realize that his boss, the archivist Alpha Trion, knew of a secret potential within the data clerk, and that Cybertron's history was at a precipice. Once he and Megatron discovered they did not have as much in common as they once believed, the lowly data clerk was promoted by the High Council to be the next Prime.
Over the centuries, loss and war have led Optimus to appear stern and serious to most. But scratch the surface, and you'll find an individual who greatly cares for his fellow living beings, with a warmth and kindness his closet friends can rely on. You'll also find regret over the loss of a comrade to darkness, and the faintest glimmer of hope that he can be saved.

Arcee
Voiced by Sumalee Montano.
Arcee is the least physically-imposing of Optimus Prime's crew, but she's also Optimus's most reliable soldier, his go-to gal when he needs someone he can count on. Whatever she lacks in physical form she more than makes up for it in force of personality. She is tough as nails at all times, always ready with a snarky quip even in the face of deactivation, not afraid to bend the rules every now and then, and seemingly never, ever scared.
And while that is largely true, and makes her an incredibly dangerous opponent (especially in melee combat, her specialty), that force of will is also a bit of a front. The loss of a partner back on Cybertron rattled her, leading her towards a path of going it alone. And when she finally started opening up to another partner on Earth, losing him shook her to her core. To then be immediately saddled with the task of being the "guardian" for Jack Darby, one of the locals accidentally caught up in the struggle on Earth, well, let's just say she was less than thrilled about that.
Slowly, but surely, Arcee is coming around again and facing her past demons. Jack's bravery and ingenuity even when in mortal peril is growing on her.

Bulkhead
Voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
Bulkhead looks huge and menacing, but he's only the former. Once you get to know him, he has a gentle soul. He's afraid of hurting things smaller and more fragile than him, but his new human friend, Miko Nakadai, has helped him grow past that. He has a low tolerance for jerks and bullies, and is quite happy to let people like that stew in the trouble they've made for themselves, but his better impulses—or at least, needling from those around him—always sway him into helping in the end.

Bumblebee
Voiced by ------
Bumblebee is a young and eager Autobot, one of the last generation to be created before the loss of the AllSpark. He's full of energy and determination to do the right thing, and can always be counted on to volunteer for action. His small size matched with his impressive speed make him an excellent scout and messenger.
He's been on Earth longer than any other Autobot, and he's grown to like and understand humans, particularly "Raf" Esquivel. If you're a Decepticon and you want to threaten any humans, you better not think you can get away with it just because Bumblebee's small and can't talk: he can't talk because his voicebox was destroyed in combat and he's still kept fighting, because Bumblebee will take any risk and make whatever sacrifice necessary to win the war.

Ratchet
Voiced by Jeffrey Combs
The Autobots' medical officer, Ratchet has a dry wit, often giving his wounded comrades a hard time for taking hits he somehow avoids. With the Energon supplies becoming less and less, he works to find new ways to make do, and he'd really prefer if the Autobots didn't risk injury (or worse) to protect humans. He'd also prefer the humans weren't brought back to Autobot Central Command but since he is unfamiliar with human tech, he needs Rafael Esquivel to help him out. However, for all his views on humans, deep down Ratchet admires what the tiny fleshies bring to the fight.

----THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT MAIN AUTOBOT CHARACTERS, BUT HAVE BEEN MENTIONED/SEEN AT SOME POINT IN TIME----

Wheeljack
Voiced by James Horan
Wheeljack is one of the roughest Autobots around. As a former member of the Wreckers, he's seen plenty of action, and he's got the snarky one-liners to prove it. He's no scientist, but he's certainly inventive when it comes to combat. If there's anything he likes more than slicing up Decepticons with his swords, it's hanging with his old buddy, Bulkhead (who calls him Jackie).
But not for too long. He's got places to be. Wheeljack was only seen for one episode, leaving at the end of "Con Job."

Cliffjumper
Voiced by Dwayne Johnson (AKA. The Rock)
Cliffjumper (Cliff to his chums) isn't your run-of-the-mill Autobot freedom fighter. Armed with six-cylinder ion cannons, a quantum-sensitive multiphase targeting system that would make Megatron jealous, and of course, the old-school technique of pummeling Decepticons with his fists, Cliffjumper prefers to liven up the day with firefights while retrieving enemy intelligence. He more than lives up to his name: He'll fearlessly leap long before he bothers looking!
Cliffjumper never made it past the first episode. He was captured by the Decepticons and murdered by Starscream, making him the second partner of Arcee's to be killed in the war.

Tailgate
Voiced by Josh Keaton
Tailgate once worked alongside Arcee. Now he's dead. Apparently, this isn't especially uncommon.

T H E D E C E P T I C O N S (Yes, Tastes-Like-Cookies. They are the bad guys.)

[image error] <---Apparently this dude got detention at school for "Anger management issues."
Megatron
Voiced by Frank Welker
The awesomely powerful Megatron is, in many ways, a fallen hero. He rose up from the oppressed lower working castes of Kaon to become a champion in the region's illegal deathmatches, cast aside his designation of D-16 and took the legendary name Megatronus as his own, he called for an end to Cybertron's decrepit caste system and told the downtrodden that freedom of self-determination was the right of all sentient beings!
But power corrupts and Megatron's Decepticon revolution, like many such movements, ended up becoming a whole new tyranny. Powerful, charismatic, violent, and full of rage for any who would stand in the way of his ambition and drive, Megatron brought Cybertron past the brink of destruction. Now he and his former brother-in-arms Optimus Prime fight on other worlds. Megatron will never forgive Optimus for "betraying" him, stealing from the Council the rank of Prime which was rightfully his. He has reserved for his old friend the greatest honor possible: glorious death at his hands.
Megatron has been gone for three years, but now he's returned. He's brought the monstrous Dark Energon to Earth, and quite possibly left his sanity in space.

[image error] <----:O *Gasp* He lost his arm! I couldn't find any better pictures of him. :P
Starscream
Voiced by Steve Blum
Starscream was an Air Commander of the Energon Seekers, Cybertron's finest air warriors. His dream was to recover the Matrix of Leadership and become the Prime that would return the Transformers to the Golden Age, and he saw opportunity with the rebel upstart Megatron. A patient and polite schemer, Starscream used to wish Megatron would drop the heroic anti-caste charade and be more honest about his lust for power.
These days, he alternatively wishes Megatron would stop being obsessed with his lust for power and chafes under having to work for such a madman. While he serves as Megatron's right-hand man, he constantly looks for a way to become the commander himself and Megatron knows it: Starscream's extremely volatile personality means he is not adept at hiding his true intent. Fortunately for Megatron, Starscream is prone to panic, cowardice and bombastic gestures, meaning that it'd take exceptional circumstances for Starscream to actually manage to get behind him to shove the knife in.
He may be a scientist, but becauase of conflicting stories of his past we're not quite sure.

Soundwave
Voiced by -----
Soundwave is the spy master of the Decepticons. One of Megatron's earliest followers, and, many believe, instrumental to his rise, he uses his tentacles and a veritable army of Minicon Deployers to learn everything there is to know about his allies and his enemies. He was never very chatty, but these days, on Earth, he's become near silent, communicating by playing back recordings of other people's conversations. He just sneaks about, patiently looking for Autobot transmissions and creeping you out. Since the incapacitation of Megatron, Soundwave acts as a restraint on Starscream, reigning in his rather volatile emotions, and ensuring that Starscream's less than subtle ambitions are held in check.
Soundwave has the ability to receive transmissions from anywhere on the planet, bar the shielded Autobot Base. This allows him to spy on every being on the planet in the hopes of picking up Autobot-related communications.

Knock Out
Voiced by Daran Norris
Sure, other Decepticons may scoff at his decision to go with a land-based alternate mode, but Knock Out couldn't care less. He knows the value of looking good and isn't afraid to let others know it. It's not simply his own lines he's interested in; he has an appreciation for well-built mechanical bodyforms of all sizes and functions... and a nasty penchant for tearing them apart after he's done admiring them. Slick, sly and snobbish, he's ostensibly the Decepticons' "medic", though he professes both a preference and proficiency for dis-assembly.
Both in the operation room and on the battlefield, Knock Out is rarely without his brutish partner Breakdown. Knock Out is the speedster of the duo, swiftly striking his victim's vulnerables with his Energon prod in debilitating sneak attacks while Breakdown goes the "massive smackdown" route with his raw power.

Breakdown
Voiced by Adam Baldwin
Despite a level of skill to match any Decepticon warrior's, Breakdown is almost crippled by a persistent paranoia, especially when he is in crowds. He is much happier working alone, away from the eyes he is sure are watching him at every moment. That said, he is quick to come at Megatron's call, as his fear of his powerful leader may be the only thing outreaching his agoraphobic tendencies.
On present-day Earth, he's Knock Out's assistant, apparently at some point having traded his paranoia for a bulkier frame and the bearings to match. He has also become somewhat careless in battle, having directly or indirectly damaged Knock Out on more than one occasion. He also has a dispute with Bulkhead.

Airachnid (One of Awesomely's Least Favourite Characters Ever.)
Voiced by Gina Torres
Long ago, Airachnid was with the Decepticons, where her cruel, cold-sparked, murderous demeanor served her well. But after the Great Exodus of Cybertron, she decided to go solo. Nevertheless, she still feels a sort of kinship with her former allies, so if a group of humans attempted to, so to say, disassemble a Decepticon, she would take offense to it.
These days, Airachnid spends her time engaging in her new hobby: collecting endangered species. Well, parts of endangered species. Mostly the heads.
And if a species isn't endangered? Oh, they will be. She'll make sure of that. And she'll make sure it's a slow, painful process.

AGAIN, NOW FOR THE LESS-IMPORTANT CHARACTERS. >:D

Skyquake
Voiced by Richard Green
Skyquake's loyalties are unlikely to be questioned anytime soon. A Decepticon guardian sent to protect Earth's energon stocks, he is completely loyal to Megatron. He will not only obey every order, he will follow them until Megatron says otherwise, regardless of the passage of time. He also possesses a rather short temper and is not beyond backhanding anyone who frustrates him.
He's disappeared since he was downed by the Autobots, but Starscream was happy to return to revive him with Dark Energon. Only problem now? Skyquake's now trapped in the Shadowzone, an alternate dimension to our, thanks to a Groundbridge malfunction.

Makeshift
Voiced by James Horan/Kevin Michael Richardson
Makeshift can change his shape, voice, and mannerisms to impersonate other Transformers. He's pretty good at it. We're pretty sure he got blown up after he tried to impersonate Wheeljack.

[image error] [image error]
The Vehicons (Top) and the Terrorcons (Bottom)
(Vehicons) Voiced by Steve Blum/Frank Welker/Kevin Michael Richardson
The Former:
Vehicons may be Megatron and Starscream's cannon fodder, but they do possess sweet alternate modes, be they sports cars or jets. Whether they are individuals or drones with very unique programming remains unclear.
They are also called Eradicons. It's a bit confusing

The Latter:
Born from dead Transformers infused with Dark Energon, the Terrorcons are Megatron's greatest asset—an undead army under his thrall. Each is powerful and relentless in its own right; en masse, their persistence and Dark Energon they radiate can sap the strength of their Autobot prey until they can pull it down and tear it apart. Thankfully, they are not invulnerable. Energy blasts of sufficient force can deter them, though the best method is to use bladed weapons to slice them to pieces—the smaller the better—as the Dark Energon charge cannot sustain itself within the smaller, disparate components. Simply slicing them in half doesn't seem to be sufficient, though the method of irradiation may be a factor: The one case known to be prodigiously active despite total bisection was the product of a direct implantation of crystallized Dark Energon; all others to date have been created by absorbing energies emitted over a wide area by a shattered crystal.

H U M A N S

Jack Darby
Voiced by Josh Keaton
Jackson "Jack" Darby is a smart, responsible sixteen-year old dude. Before he met the Autobots, he was hard at work flipping burgers so he could save up for his first motorbike; now, he helps fight the monstrous Decepticons alongside his friends Miko Nakadai and Raf Esquivel. Only two things get past his responsibility and intelligence: badass bikes and the need to impress girls. Since his guardian Autobot is Arcee, he gets both at once! While she's not thrilled to guard him, his heroic qualities are winning her over.

Miko Nakadi
Voiced by Tania Gunadi
Miko Nakadai is a 15-year old girl from Japan with a strong love of American pop culture... as long as it's loud pop culture! Speed metal and wild punk outfits are her thing, and she's always searching for thrills, causing trouble for her mates Jack Darby and Raf Esquivel. She's started to hang out with the Autobot Bulkhead too, helping him get over his fear of hurting his tiny partner and encouraging him to get in trouble with her. However, when the chips are down, she'll look out for her pals and Bulky has her back.

Raf Esquivel
Voiced by Andy Pessoa
He's the quiet, forgotten child of a large family, and he goes into "the zone" whenever he sees technology. You'd think he'd be constantly getting wedgies from nearby punks and biker kids, but no! Rafael "Raf" Esquivel is, in fact, best mates with Miko Nakadai and Jack Darby! Even more incredible, he's best mates with Bumblebee, a robot car from outer space, and since other Autobots like Ratchet are unfamiliar with human technology, he's called on at Autobot Central Command to use his know-how to save the world!
When you were twelve years old, you wished you were Raf. (Okay, he's twelve and a quarter. A very big quarter! He's very specific about that.)

William Fowler
Voiced by Ernie Hudson
Special Agent William "Bill" Fowler is the type of guy that Theodore Galloway wishes he could be. He's the tough-talking, robot-dissing designated liaison between the United States government and the Autobots, who's got the guts to face down the Decepticons himself. And he doesn't need any military escort! He can pilot his own damn helicopter! And his own damn jet plane! Without a damn flight suit!
Fowler is leery about trusting the Autobots to handle the Decepticons by themselves and believes that Earth can handle its own mess, but for now, while he chews them out and slags them off, he's willing to let them have a chance.

June Darby
Voiced by Markie Post
Ever since her husband left her, June Darby has been raising her sixteen-year-old son alone. When she's not spending time as a nurse at the local hospital, June's spending time being overprotective towards her son, who hangs out with warring robots from outer space. Who can blame her?

Silas
Voiced by Clancy Brown
Silas is an agent of the MECH organization, bent on enforcing a newer world order. In his first appearance, Silas led some M.E.C.H. soldiers into stealing the D.N.G.S only to be thwarted by Agent Fowler and the Autobots. He and his soldiers later abduct Breakdown to learn "what makes them [Cybertronians] tick." That time, Breakdown was saved by Bulkhead and the unexpected arrival of Starscream and the Vehicons. Thanks to the data from Breakdown, Silas begins his plan which he calls "Project Chimera". Silas later collaborates with Airachnid in order to take out Arcee and Jack by using June, Jack's mother, as bait. This partnership is short lived and unsuccessful, but Silas learns from this how Cybertronians get their alternate modes.
Really. A simple question would've sufficed.

THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS ARE LESS MAIN-ISH. IF THAT'S EVEN A WORD.

Sierra
Voiced by Alexandra Krosney
Sierra is a teenager who shares the same homeroom as Jack Darby and is captain of the high school's cheerleading squad. Her extracurricular activities are suspicious. She's also Jack's love interest (no surprises there.) She has a friend that accompanies her everywhere, but due to the writer's laziness she cannot be bothered adding her in.

Anybody else is just too insignificant to bother with. :P
