I'm sure some of you know what books I am talking about. And some of you do not. But I do believe it's official: They are making a movie out of the awesome series by Chuck Black! Click on the link below if you'd like more info.

My mom found out first! She told me and I wanted to tell all of you. I'm really excited.

The website's been around, I think since early spring. Kingdom's Quest, the main fan forum for the Kingdom Series which sadly closed down last May, was really into the whole idea. One of the members on there wrote the FAQ's. :)

Is there any news on a release date?

According to Jess Stainbrook, filming will probably start in one or two years. They need to get sponsors as well as actors, and location hasn't been decided on yet, though I have heard it may be in New Zealand and/or Ireland.

New Zealand would be a great location.

yah, New Zealand would be great. that's where they filmed Lord of the Rings.

I so would want to be in this movie.


OH MY LOTR is like the most epic movie ever

Just to let you guys know, they'll be making three movies. The first one will be based on Dawn and Hope, and the two others on Call and Quest, and Edge and Reign.

I can't wait for the first one.

Really? I hadn't heard that news. I'm glad they are doing that. It fits better that way.

Tis' quiet tragic! I'm getting antsy for a trailer. If my parents allow me to go, I don't know what I'm gonna be. I'll just get some pointy ears and a dress and be an elf or something.

To enjoy it to it's full extent, I'll go when it's already been out 3 weeks, so the theater will be practically empty. and then you can chose the best seats :P

i love the Kingdom series, but i don't think i'll watch the movies until one of my friends previews it for me. i do NOT do well with violence, and if you remember that one scene...*shudder* well actually there are a lot of violent parts in those books. great books, but i don't think i'll watch the movies.

besides, they always mess up the books in the movies anyway.

Violence personally doesn't bother me that much, unless of course, there's too much blood flying around.

Chuck Black will personally be working with the director, so I'm 'hoping for the best and preparing for the worst'! :)

Knights of Arrethtrae movies would be awesome! Unfortunately, I was trying to find any more info on the movies, and could not find much. Sadly, it looks like production is paused for the time.
