Femmes and Mechs are the terms to refer to Females and Males. Sparklings are the little ones of the Transformers. Younglings is a fan-term for the older version of the little ones. You can say that a Sparkling had been "sparked on this day": pretty much an alternative way of saying given birth to. That helpful enough for you, doll?

Yums, I will warn you of something right now. Due to the sheer amount of different Transformers series (with their different ideas that have been contributed and different plotlines) not all ideas are the same. For example, in the original Transformers, Unicron was a giant robot planet that ate other planets (as much sense as that makes :P) and was not a god like he is in the majority of the other series. So I tried to strip it all down into it's simplest form. Hope it helps. ^.^
Energon

Energon, in a nutshell, is pretty much the Transformers' life force. It's like their own kind of food, yet is also their blood in away: Transformers will "drink" Energon (normally), but when injured it also acts as their blood. It typically takes the form of a liquid substance inside cubes, giving rise to the phrase, "Would you like to go out for an Energon cube?" In shows such as Transformers: Prime, Energon takes on a crystalized form before it has been refined.
Fans are also knows to take human food and chuck "Energon" in front of it, as if this somehow makes that food Cybertronian in nature. For example, "Cookie" could become "Energon Cookie."
Primus
[image error]
Primus is... hard to explain. To summarise, he's mostly percevied as a godlike entity; if Primus and Unicron were like God and Satan, Primus would undoubtedly be the former. His existence is supposed to have dated back to the beginning of time itself, and he is often depicted to be at war with his evil brother, Unicron. In most Transformers series, he is Cybertron, which doesn't logically always make sense. There are a couple (Like the Prime verse) which make more sense, instead saying the Primus became the Well of All Sparks, which gives life to all Transformers. A common phrase heard would be "Thank Primus," instead of "Thank God."
Unicron
[image error]
E.V.I.I.I.I.L. Always at odds with his twin brother, Unicron is everything that Primus is not. Regardless of whether he's in the form of a planet-eating robot, or is depicted as the evil god, you can always count on the fact that Unicron is bad, bad, bad news.
The Thirteen Primes
The Thirteen original Transformers were created by Primus in imitation of Unicron's transformation abilities. Rightfully huge and powerful multiversal singularities like their creator, each was designated a Prime, and given an aspect of the multiverse to guide over, as well as manning planet Cybertron. But power corrupts, and many of the Primes betrayed one another—with one even siding with Unicron—until few remained, secretly aiding or manipulating the next generations of Transformers.
Dark Energon
[image error]
Only seen in the Primeverse, thankfully, so it's easier to explain. Dark Energon is the Blood of Unicron... quite literally it would seem. It is found in crystalised form like normal Energon, but is referred to as the "Anti-Spark" by Megatron. It holds the ability to reanimate the dead into mindless zombies (hence the Terrorcons) and has negative effects on Transformers once they've been exposed to it for too long. Megatron, in an effort to control it and his Terrorcons, infused the substance with his spark. The result? Well, I think people will agree when he seems rather insane and obsessed with it now.
Spark
[image error]
The Spark is the lifeforce or the soul of a Transformer. The spark is a physical entity which is safeguarded inside a Transformer body. If something harms the spark beyond repair, it is "extinguished" and returns to the Allspark (or sometimes the Well of All Sparks). The Transformer is then considered dead. A Transformer is able to survive an enormous amount of physical damage. As long as the spark is intact, it is possible to repair or rebuild the body and restore the spark to it.
There is also the thought of sparkbonding: the act of merging two sparks in an act of love, bonding the two together for life. From here, thoughts of reproduction seem to rise, and to say "I am with spark" is like another way of saying that they're pregnant. Similarly, "sparked up" is pretty much the same as knocked up. "Sparked" is a more controversial term.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.
