Oh, one more thing- I love the M&B cover as I think it captures the spirit of the book and the characters so well:
I really loved this one. I thought Polly was great and really enjoyed her personality development. The romance is not nearly as memorable as Polly. I loved the way she kept him on his toes.
Thiss one was better than the others. The H was really gutsy and her own woman and I liked that. I was happy that the Board of Directors were fired. The Fat Cats deserved firing.
I just finished this one. Great book that deserved the rave reviews. I loved Polly. She was cute, funny, smart, sassy, and confident. I loved how she kept turning things around on Damon.
I love this book and Polly. In the last month, i have read this book 2 times. I was gonna read it again last week but i can't find the book. I think i lost it now i have to buy another copy.
lol. thank you. I like all of Sarah Morgan's books, but out of all the books by her i like this book the best.
I just finished reading this one. A solid 4 star read with two likeable lead characters. Polly was a refreshingly independent heroine.
I really liked this one (★★★★½)! I usually hate couples that bicker or fight for most of the book, but their conflict of personalities seemed so real. It probably also helps that the fighting was about work and not about their relationship. I think it's one of my favorite "opposites attract" books (oh -- I need to add a shelf for that trope!).As good as the book was, I was very distracted by the multiple typos and errors in the book -- especially when his sister was twice called Analisa instead of Arianna. I thought I had missed something about Damon having a girlfriend.
I forgot to mention that I think this book needs a much better title -- something that matches the fun and flirty tone of the heroine (and the book itself). If I browsing a shelf of HPs, I would have passed it by based on the title alone.
HP titles in general leave a lot to be desired. I guess we should just be grateful the title wasn't "Doukakis' Virgin Mistress" or something to that effect.
Okay I have to admit I've been lurking a bit before jumping in. I have heard this book mentioned several times as being pretty good. So . . . I'm ordering it! Thanks all for your input on it, btw. :D
Hey Vanessa. I think most of the members here tend to look around more than commenting. I just hope our comments here are somewhat helpful to you. This was such an enjoyable book, I'm sure you'll at least get some good entertainment out of it.
I hope you enjoy it, Vanessa!I lurked here a few months before actively commenting. I think posting discussion threads for the new HPs each month drew me out of my shell.
Just finished reading this tonite and loved it.The H/h complemted each other so well and the banter between them was so funny at times, laughed out loud a few times. On a side note, did thid book remind anyone of earlier LG books,it had quite a few LG elements to it,or is it just me?
Glad you enjoyed it, Vashti. Hm, I thought Damien was the typical myopic see only what he conveniently wants to see HP hero- that is, until Polly showed him who's boss! I'm not sure that is a particular LG trait though but I'm not the most seasoned LG fan.

I think I have gushed and raved about this book enough elsewhere so I will spare you from my further fangirling here. Suffice to say that I love this book and its heroine, Polly Prince, whom I have decided is my favorite HP heroine to date. Sarah Morgan has been writing some really cute and modern heroines of late.
(view spoiler)[How great was it when Polly gets Damien all hot and heavy and then shows him a taste of his own medicine by simply walking out on him after kissing him silly? And how great was her attitude after their first night together? I just loved that! (hide spoiler)]
I love that Polly breaks all the stereotypes of the typical HP doormat heroine and I love that her entire life and sense of self does not revolve around the jerk alpha hero (not that I think Damien was a jerk). Finally a heroine who can be head over heels in love with the hero and still have a life. Thank you, Sarah Morgan, for finally breaking the mold and poking some fun at the doormat heroines and the typical arrogant HP alpha heroes with this one.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
