Raena's name has come up in this context. What character do you despise?

Oh Burcan, I was never sure whether he or Merodda was the instigator of the whole sorry business.

I think Alastyr stands out as an object of disgust for me, but knowing a lot of the characters' backgrounds and past lives, it was hard for me to really hate anyone because their history made them into what they were. It wasn't that I saw anyone as really inherently evil; they were corrupted by experience, inheritance, power, and the magic of the Dweomer.

I don't hate Raena, and I certainly don't despise her, but I do think she was warped beyond redemption.

Yes, Raena really did have to go out and come in again.

I always disliked Lord Perryn. Also Alastyr, Raena, and Garraent.
To be honest, Brangwen always annoyed me though I was a fan of her later incarnations including Branoic and of course, Jill.
