Salem's Lot by Stephen King, I really need some help getting through this one and would love to have someone to discuss it with.
I'm about to start THE TOURIST by Olen Steinhauer (Nordic Noir) and it looks somewhat intimidating. Would love a buddy if anyone is interested. But Im not sure how it would work... thoughts???
You know Libby I was wondering to myself how in that heck that would work also but I didn't want to ask... LOL
A friend who is reading my book, "In the Middle of Almost and Other Stories," asked me if there was a discussion group for it. I thought I'd see if anyone here wants to read it and discuss the characters and themes with him (and me). It's an ebook on Kindle and Nook, and this is the description:A collection of short stories and memoir previously published in literary magazines and newspapers. The stories reveal moments in the lives of young women who lead ostensibly busy, successful lives, but are somehow lonely and discontent. Their search for connection leads to encounters with an array of men--the garage attendant across the street, the stay-at-home dad in the playground, the younger man at the diner counter--with both funny and poignant results.
Also included is an excerpt from a novel-in-progress, a modern day Romeo and Juliet story about a Jewish premed student and a Palestinian doctor.
We'd love to discuss it with you!
