Leaving Paradise question

She would have felt guilty but she would have also been to scared to do anything about it. I reckon Caleb would have felt it was the right thing to do to protect his sister.

His sister should of told someone. I'm sorry, watching your brother go to jail because your scared is wrong.

They were both wrong, Caleb for taking the blame and Kendra for not telling the truth. I love my sister but I would never take the blame for something she did.

Kendra should've stopped her brother from going to jail.

I am confused with the above discussion, as what i have read. All i knew the main character is Caleb, the young boy who went on jail. Leah is his twin sister who actually hit Maegan. Maegan is Leah's best friend, who believe's that it was Caleb who hit her. And Kendra for all i know is Caleb's girlfriend who cheats him for another guy who happens to be Caleb's best friend, that guy named Brian...correct me if i am wrong and if i am wrong i will re-read those series...

If I were Caleb I would have done the same thing at this point in the story. I mean, he already went to jail and he cant undo that, so if he told everyone it was leah's fault then she would go to jail to. He already went to jail so it would just be for nothing if Leah went to.

I get why Caleb protected his sister Leah. He didn't want to see his younger sister go to juvie for her mistake. Leah and Caleb should have eventually told people what actually happened. Especially since Caleb started falling for Megan(the girl his sister hit.) He didn't want his sisters best friend Megan to hate her for hitting her with the car since they've been friends forever.
