I say, WHY NOT!?!?!?! If its love, then.....Awesome!!!! There should be no age limit to highschool dating, in my opinion. Things happen....

Adam There's clearly nothing wrong with this. Why would there be issues?

I mean it's love!!! Let everyone have fun but make sure there not all over them cuz they might get hurt after all it's a older student and they will only be at the school one more year but I say let them be!!

Not all men want to get into girl's pants...

Would it be okay for a senior FEMALE to day a freshman guy!?!? You have to think of it that way

Roline (redlines) | 2 comments Attraction can't be avoided and as they all say, age doesn't matter, so why would it be bad...

There are so many people who dates older or younger people and it certainly didn't affect them...

I didn't mean the pants but more along the lines of being rude or in control of the situation and not having a healthy relationship!

Yesh, but sometimes that's not the case.

Dreamergirl | 3 comments Maybe... If the age range is 3 years yes, but if it's 4 I don't think they can relate to one another much,....

Adam What if you are 38 and 30?

The age difference is 4 years, not eight. That would be another matter I guess... What's your opinion, I'd like to get some feedback :)

But, in my opinion, when your 30 and your with a 38 year old compared to a freshman and senior, when you're older (ie:30-38) its automatically more acceptable to society, because you are older. There are some people who are 20 years apart. Even celebrities like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (okay, maybe that's not a good comparison) are accepted. It all depends on your age.

Yes, I know, that's why I changed the age range.

There is not a massive difference in maturity levels from freshman to senior, even though it may seem that way. There IS a larger difference between a 25 year old and a 15 year old. But there is not a huge difference between a 45 year old and a 35 year old. This is more due to maturity and general development.

I've read articles where they recommend that to have a most successful relationship, you should be with someone within 10 years. Otherwise the generation gap is too big. My current girlfriend and I are 7 years apart and we get along great.

So... if you're able to drive and drink that fundamentally changes someone's personality?

And that's exactly why the law is stupid...
