Divergence discussion

These are those who love to have new knowledge. Children are seen with books and newspapers. They are the ones who keep records, and they supplied the city with intelligent teachers and researchers. The main building of the Erudite is a library. It is described by Tris as, "huge, silent, and smells like dust covered papers. The wood-paneled floor creaks beneath my feet. Bookcases line the walls on either side of me, but they seem to be decorative more than anything, because computers occupy the tables in the center of the room, and no one is reading. They stare at screens with tense eyes, focused." These are required to wear blue at all times as it calms them. They say, "A calm mind is a clear mind." Erudites are good with words and that Eloquence are for them.

Also, the Erudite people are greedy for knowledge as Tris describes in Insurgent. Their leader was/is Jeanine Matthews

What's so bad about erudite?????

I would fit in this faction for only 1 reason: studying so much to get ahead of anyone, but I don't do it for fun...it's more of an obligation.
