Why are we even speaking about twilight? It's more cursed then voldemort!

Personally Twilight is a discrace and I refuse to have any knowlage about it. It copy's Harry Potter because of the two parts and it will never be better
Um we could talk about how after Harry Potter was done with Robert Pattinson Twilight picked him up. I always knew he was a tratior. Also the man who plays Gillet Grindiwald was a Volteri ( I think that is how you spell it) in Twilight and him being in the movie led Bonnie Wright(Ginny) to marry him in the "real world"

Most everyone in this group is smart enough to know Harry Potter is better.

Haha Lauren! I am a die hard Harry Potter fan, but I try not to criticize Twilight much. :) They are two completely different genre, epic fantasy and paranormal romance! How are we supposed to compare?
No competition at all :) They were compared because of the popularity.

Harry potter has both werewolves and to lesser extent (thankfully) vampires plus many other characters/creatures. And is still a better love story love triangle ickA whole series to?

Haha, I don't know about that actually, there are some truly, truly awful books out there. Twilight is probably pretty darn close to it, though.
False, Twilight got me into reading which must mean it was very well written and engaging. Really awful books are out there everywhere, but Twilight's not one of them. There is a reason that book sold millions of copies in the whole world.Nevertheless, Harry Potter is way better. JK Rowling really put time into making the world and developing the characters, possibly creating a true masterpiece.

Well I am also HP fan and I'll always be and I prefer HP to twilight but what pisses me off is when people attack meyer for writing the books. I don't like them esp, too but we should give her a credit for doing what she loves and for following her dreams (literally xD). It is hard to put your soul in sth and then everyone spit on it, I know it from the first hand. It could have been HP as well, but it isn't because it's HP xD <3I hope you all understand what I' trying to point out here :)
I'm a Potterhead too. I haven't read twilight which means I've got no reason to judge it. I'm happy that Ms. Meyer followed her dreams and wrote this series.
Harry potter wasn't about a love triangle--I don't know how the two books are compared… what is twilight about? This is totally not a diss to the book.

That's true--Snape, Lily, and James were in a love triangle type of thing, but it wasn't a very main part of the books, unlike Twilight (which I have no knowledge about, whatsoever) that has the three main characters... Jacob, Bella, and... Edward, was it?, in the love triangle. I actually never thought of Snape, Lily, and James' relationship as a love triangle. That's an interesting way to put it, and it's totally true.

i think we all agree that harry potter is much better! i‘ve been through a “twilight phase“ when i read the books and watched the movies, but now i‘m so over them, it‘s like once is more than enough! but i can never get sick of the harry potter series (books and movies) no matter how many times i watch the movies, or read the books. harry potter is a life style.
A die hard to the core harry potter fan, a potterhead all the way.
