Most of the ones I'm looking forward to come out later in the year, starting in Sept. :(Although the new Hoyt one looks tempting, but I have to catch-up first.

This one should be interesting, especially considering Claire's choice at the end of the last one.
oh The Ruby Circle
in February this is the last book of the series I didn't enjoy the one before this.
I didn't realize Snyder was getting back into that. Thanks.
I'm waiting for the last Bloodlines book to come out to even bother reading the ones I have left. After hearing bad things about the last one, I figure a straight shot will be best.

Last book in Bloodlines was pretty much everywhere. I think the author just had to much going on with the movie changing around some of the mythology and then I think she had a son and then got pregnant and had another one quite close together.
Not sure if the new study books will be interesting I have been hearing about it for a while though. All of her books are basically the same so I'm afraid she's going to ride this bus until the wheels are bald.

I actually didn't mention which book I was talking about in my post so I went back and fixed it. :)

I'm really not sure. I was thinking it was an adaption of the play into book form. Apparently there will be two different versions this first one and then a later version. It's very confusing lol.

I never finished the HP series but I'm also intrigued.

I didn't read it based off what I heard and that I felt it wasn't for me. Plus I didn't absolutely love her last bloodlines books.
This is supposed to be a series though and It sounds like something thats more up my alley than her last book.
september 20 2016. I think this is the last cate book. I'm a few behind (again) so I need to catch up.
Also the first line of Binds is a spoiler if you aren't caught up so warning. I didn't get one and now.... sigh.
They are contracted out to 10 books for sure. I can't imagine them being able to wrap up the series even in two. But who knows maybe Binds will really cover some grounds. Too be honest I'll be sad to see the series go. I think it still has a lot of steam behind it to keep going.

The world is so large it can certainly go in another direction but I also think even though the writers love it they are also nearing their burn out for the series. They want to do a lot of different things and need to free up a hand .
They also said something about wanting to do a Hugh book but they haven't written it yet and don't know if they will be able to do so.
Well it will be interesting to see what they do. They were testing the waters with self pub with the Innkeeper books. I'm very curious to where they will go after Kate wraps up. Especially as traditional publishing houses lose interest in the UF genre.

I can only name a few UF series that have had so much success they've crossed over into the hardbacks. However, Publishing houses don't really set the trends these days. it's usually one author writes a good book thats a specific way and then all of a sudden its the IT thing and thats all they want until another author comes a long with something in another genre and it becomes the IT thing. the circcccccllle of liiiifeeeeee.
I'm also interested though because the Hidden Legacy is only a trilogy so it will wrap up soon as well.
A lot of long running and popular series didn't make the switch. Though their were a lot of great series that got cut short or never made it, which is true of any trending genre. I do think publishers still have a heavy hand in trends. They say oh, this sci-fi book is popular let's over saturate the market. The publishers tell writers what they need to have, like say a love triangle. What points the story needs to appeal to readers and such. Or what they can't have in the story. Even telling an author to take something out because it won't appeal to readers. They also say when the trend ends by not picking up more of that genre, or having an author cut short a series due to "the forseen lack of interest in this genre".
Despite self pub I think publishing houses still have a huge impact. Even if the new trend is from the success of a self pub work. Or vice versa.
