Attara's mouth dropped to the floor. What the....? How was she to survive if all of the paths seemed to lead to death? And then her jaw dropped even further. There, shimmering in the light inside of the Cornucopia, was a glove. Her glove. The one she made in front of the Gamemaker's. The Cornucopia was resting on top of the cave. It must be a sign, she thought. Attara nodded to Aster and pointed to the cave before the bell rang. As the pod doors opened, Aster sprinted to the cave, her only thoughts on the shimmering glove that she needed to get for Attara. She reached the Cornucopia before anyone else, with the combination of her climbing and running skills. She grabbed a glove as it appeared, and she made to grab a pack but the next second it was gone. A sword appeared in it's place. Aster grabbed that and waited for another pack to appear. She grabbed one that dissolved to he left and the ducked as a club was swung at her. Let the games begin, she thought, smiling inwardly as she ran to find Attara.
Attara slipped into the grass of the meadow, running through it to reach the Cornucopia. She planned to get a pack and some knives and then run to the cave to find Aster. And that's exactly what she did. Only having to slip past a few tributes, Attara made her way into the cave and hid in the shadows just as Aster dropped into the cave from a thin hole in the ceiling. "That went rather smoothly," Aster said.
The cave rumbled, and a single rock dropped onto the ground.
Attara looked up at the cave's ceiling. She looked to Aster, her eyes wide. Without thinking about it, she sprinted out of the cave, forgetting one of the knives as she ran. Luckily, she had already put on her glove, otherwise she most likely would've forgotten it. Aster grabbed everything and ran out of the cave, now knowing that it was unstable.
The cave didn't do anything after the rock fell on the ground.
Ash had grabbed a sword and a bag and was running after Alyse, who had another bag and a couple daggers. She skidded to a stop, Ash banging into her. "Ouch! Ash..." Alyse growled. "Sorry," Ash muttered. He looked around and bit his lip. "Outside, where Aster and that other person went," Alyse murmured, grabbing Ash's hand and sprinting out
Sydney had never been so afraid. Her schizoid imagination did not help. Before the meadow...oh, joy! Among the horrible plants, there were plants she recognized so well!
Glenn was running for one of the caves before she knew it/
Glenn!/
He reached the Cornucopia with the medicines, where he scooped up several packs, and motioned her to run to the Cornucopia with the medicines--
"Sydney!" he called out in fright.
She had enough time to run into the wrong Cornucopia.
Aster and Attara made a quick decision to run for the ugly looking pool after they had teamed up with Ash and Alyse.
The cave started to rumble again, but remained stable. It seemed to be escape.
Vale grabbed her sister's hand, holding it tightly as she looked around, fear pulsing through her, part of it her sister's and part of it her own. "Cave, river, meadow..." She muttered, loud enough that Buttercup could hear. She jumped as something rumbled to her left, the cave. Buttercup squeezed her sister's hand comfortingly, trying to control the fear tingling in her fingers and toes. "That looks stable. But what about..." Buttercup almost didn't want to turn, didn't want to see what was lurking behind her back.
Falcon looked over at Winter, then around at the different places in the Arena. She didn't turn, didn't think she needed to. She wanted to hold Winter's hand, have him hold her close, but that was unproductive, would do nothing towards keeping them alive. She looked around for Clyde, Cloud, and Ginger.
Glenn shouted out, "SYD!"Just as the little girl from District One flinched, Sydney fell on the ground, twiching in pain miserably. He averted his eyes as...
Sydney had disapppeared. It was over for her. Or was it?
Ash and Alyse followed Aster and Attara quickly. "Great," Alyse said, looking at Ash. "What? They're good," he hissed back at her. "You only wanna follow them because you think they're cute," she muttered. Ash groaned. "Are we really having this conversation Al?" he asked
Attara couldn't help but smirk as she listened to Alyse and Ash. Alyse seriously underestimated her.
Ash looked at Attara and smiled slightly. "And it begins," Alyse muttered. "Oh, for the love of God," Ash moaned, glaring at her. Alyse giggled, and smiled at him
Aster turned towards the giggling and grimaced. "This is serious!" Aster whispered ferociously. Who knew where the other tributes lurked, waiting to pounce them?"Oh lighten up Aster!" Attara said. She smiled kindly at Ash, and made a weak attempt to smile at Alyse but knew it wouldn't mean much to her.
Attara was rather proud of herself for making Alyse smile, but Aster was much less impressed. She snorted and hurried her pace towards the lake.
Cloud looked around. Clyde looked at him and he nodded. Clyde analyzed the situation and thought about the consequences. The meadow wasnt an option. Maybe for cloud but not him. That left the river or cave. They didn't have a boat so he decided cave was the best way to go. He pointed at the cave and Cloud nodded. They looked at Ginger and pointed to the cave before they ran that way.
((Vale and Buttercup!!))Vale pulled her sister behind her as they ran towards the cave. "Vale! I'm not as fast as you are." Buttercup called, indeed she was not. Her feet were dragging as she tried to keep up. "C'mere." Vale said, not wanting to waste time as she hoisted Buttercup onto her back and continued running, a hampered by her sister's weight.
Buttercup clung to her sister as petals do to a flower, arms wrapped tightly around Vale's shoulders, not her neck.
Falcon looked at the cave, barely spotting Ginger, Cloud, and Clyde as they made for the cave. "To follow, or not to follow? Follow." Falcon sprinted after them. "OI, wait up!" She yelled, her voice carrying.
Glenn instantly heard someone calling, and decided he had no choice but an alliance. He turned to the two District 1 girls."Need help?"
Izacco grabbed Eleanor's hand as they stepped off their pod. He could feel Eleanor shaking as he looked at their options. Eleanor pointed to the cave. "Do you think we should follow all of them?" she asked, looking to Izacco. He hesitated, unsure. "Let's go get some supplies from the cornucopia first, okay?" Eleanor nodded, and, taking the lead, Izacco started running towards the left towards the cave.
((Could someone please kill off(as brutally as possible ;-D) Vale and Buttercup-District One and(as touching as possible) Falcon-District 9?))

Right when you get off the pod, there is a meadow. But this is no ordinary meadow. It’s a meadow infested with vicious wildlife and poisonous plants. There seems to be no way to go through the meadow and survive. You suddenly notice a body of green water to the right of the meadow. That seems to be a way out. And you then look to your left and notice a large cave with a dark interior. One of these ways will lead you to living for a bit longer, one way will lead you to a terrible death, and one way will lead you into being a mutt. Which way will you choose?
Then, the cornucopia pops out at you. But…there are three…One in the meadow, one resting on top of the green water, and one shimmering on top of the cave. You blink, and the cornucopias are gone. You blink again, and they are back, but their contents are different. The cornucopias’ contents changes every second!
There are many more surprises to come when you get to the other half of the arena. But for now, just IMAGINE and DREAM what if could be like. As you stare off into the cornucopias, there is a loud ring and the pod doors open. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
(As you could probably tell, the second half of the Arena will be whatever your characters think up! Have fun... :-) )
