It's...moreA world hidden right under our noses for thousands of years. A secret dating back to it's founding fathers that threatens to throw it into chaos. It's savior ... a boy from our world.
REVIEW:
"It is not very often that I open a book package in my house and set everything else aside, seeing as that I usually already have a pile to review. But when this one came into my hands, let’s just say that the first page ‘had me at hello,’ (not that I ever like using a Tom Cruise reference.) But to be given a young adult title with no vampires, no ‘yearnings’ of love, no thoughts of suicide - I mean, this was not only a great plot with fantastical characters - but it was also a total breath of fresh air.
I am telling you, readers - take a wee bit of Harry Potter, combine it with Peter Pan’s Lost Boys, throw in some Eragon, and infuse all of that with a new author whose imagination has such an appeal that you will want to read every book in this series - and you end up with the world of Grim’s Peak. The carriage called a ‘Sleeker’ is beyond cool; the dead lake in Hel-mir is frightening and creepy; the Water Arch that protects the city, and even the odd foods from Coral Sweets (candy) to the glasses of creamy whale’s milk - there is not one scene that doesn’t bring you into a seriously glorious world that SHOULD be looked at as the next ‘big’ YA fantasy series! This is a truly great read!"

Is the mysterious disappearance of an American in today's Saudi Arabia somehow linked to a terrible murder in Munich back in 1984? What is real, and what is not? Who is really who, and why? What is behind the murder, the kidnappings, and the nightmares all leading up to what end? COVERT DREAMS is an international thriller that will keep you on the edge of your chair. It grabs you in the very first sentence and then never lets go. The mounting intensity moves from the beer gardens of Munich to the burning sands of Arabia. Just as you think you have things figured out, wham, another twist! Do you love mysteries? Do you love thrillers? Do you love suspense? If so, then COVERT DREAMS is for you.Mike

I wanted you all to know that The Brit: Drawing Dead is free for all Kindle readers in a limited promotion ending today. Read the reviews; "look inside"; get it free for Kindle. But hurry - promotion ends today, Friday, January 6, 2012. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0053TZDO6 Cheers!
Always up for a place I can talk about my books without breaking any rules! :-)
My science fiction novel Twin-Bred is available as a paperback on Amazon and B&N, and a $2.99 ebook there and on Smashwords. It poses the question: can interspecies diplomacy begin in the womb?... I am particularly hoping to find more readers for this book, so that I can publish the sequel (now in revision) without feeling foolish.
I also have a science fiction story, "The Baby," free on Smashwords (and 99 cents on Amazon). It involves human cloning.
Thanks! I'd love to know what you think of them.Sheri wrote: "These sound good! I'll check them out :)"
Sure. I downloaded The Baby from Smashwords. I'll have to wait until next month to buy any more books. I put my husband on a cigarette budget, so he said I have to be on a book budget :P

There's a lot a fab sounding books on here, I have added yours to read, it sounds fantastic, especially since I am a waterbaby.
I Have written a children's book called the Adventures of the Frog Prince. It's my first book and available through amazon on kindle.
The Prince had problems; he was stranded in a moat and was trying to come to terms with being small, green and surprisingly springy.
Now not only must he battle to control his new body, which is frequently prone to malfunction, but he must also avoid being eaten by things that are bigger than him as he tries to find his way back to the castle to find out who wants him out of the way and why.
Will he discover the culprit?
Will he ever be human again?
And, if all else fails, will he still be able to choose his Princess?
Find out in this captivating story, suitable for children of all ages.
Check out my hockey-themed romance novel Home Ice!
My newest book, Submersed, is an intimate story that I would describe as Erotica "Lite".
My books are available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.com.

Hi I'm Allison B. Levine I just published my very first novel A Demon Love Story Part One: The Obsession. This is about a woman with a sorted past that she's buried deep within and it doesn't come to her conscious surface until she meets the man of her dreams--literally. She fights her urges until she can't keep away from him anymore. It's a story of love, hate, passion, debauchery and Vampires. What more can you want?
I'm new to this whole thing, forums, self promotion, attempting to be extroverted. :) I would just like some feedback, friends, people to at least read my "look inside" and give me their opinion. So Please check out my debut Novel--

Hello everyone. I recently wrote a lighter, family friendly science fiction novel called Alec's Dream. It's a free download for goodreads members or a $1.99 download at the usual retailers. It's e-book only... for now. I've been thinking of going the print route (it'll costs me a few bucks for a professional cover and such) and would like get opinions. Hopefully you'll get a good-read out of it. I've just added a coupon for Smashwords... XR62J

Laura -- I'm so glad you liked Twin-Bred -- even if you ended up sleep-deprived :-) . . . .To answer your question about how I came up with the idea: when I decided to take part in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) for the first time, I needed a story to tell. At about this time, I read an article about amazing interactions between twins in utero, captured on video. The researchers had found synchronized movement, touching, even kissing. Either the article or a comment on the article mentioned the traumatic, often devastating, impact on those whose twin -- identical or fraternal -- had died in utero or shortly after birth.
Straining this information through the science fiction filter in my mind, I imagined a scientist seeking to overcome the comprehension gap between two intelligent species by way of the bond between twins. It would be natural for the scientist who conceived this idea to be a twin. It would add emotional depth to the story if she were a twin survivor. And for added strangeness and interest, what if she had somehow kept her lost twin alive as a companion, who could be a character in the story?...
