Do you use book blogs?? On there is a way for people to network their blogs but I'm sure you could post an "ad" on one of their threads.

Oh sorry, haha it's a site on it's own, it's similar to goodreads, except its networking with different types of blogs about books http://bookblogs.ning.com

Hi, Sheila! Have I won your book giveaway yet??!!!My blog is primarily a Book Review Blog. I have a backlog right now, and to be honest, my lead time on reviews is approx. 2 months - I am working on making inroads, and I would love to review "The Girl Next Door", or another of your books.
Just wondering what you meant, in your opening post on this thread: "blogs that don't require the publisher to send the material".
Look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi, Patricia
Contest doesn't close till Nov. 18. LOL.
Some blogs I approached said that the request to review my book on their blog had to come from the publisher, not the author. So that's what I meant.
Two months is fine!
Would you like me to send the PDF Proofs right away, or do you want to wait for a review copy?
Thanks for asking!
Sheila

Hi Sheila, I'm not sure if you already found a good place or not but I can suggest two groups that specifically focus on non-genre literary fiction. A good writer-buddy/friend named Dan Holloway is associated with both and he'd be a good one to contact.
The first Eight Cuts Gallery which is more of an online gallery for writing than it is a review blog. There are a few reviewers who are affiliated with Eight Cuts, though, so you might want to contact them. Their contact info:
Blog: http://eightcuts.wordpress.com/
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/eightcutsgall...
Twitter: @eightcuts (Dan mans the Twitter)
The other is the Year Zero Writers site. Again, they don't normally do book reviews, though they definitely HAVE done some--I think they even have a whole separate page/area for reviews now! While Dan is one of the more active authors associated with YZW I think it's still officially run by Heikki. Their blog and info is here:

Oh yeah, I should probably note, Dan is in London (UK) and Heikki is ...I think somewhere in The Netherlands. I can't remember, definitely not in the US and not in the UK either. They are both MAJORLY hooked into the literary world, though, since that's what they focus on writing. Dan has gotten literary fiction into Waterstone's in London so he's got a few tricks up his sleeve. He does live readings, too, like they used to do in the 60s, live poetry readings :) He's a hippie from another time. VERY nice guy!

Can any of you help?
Thanks in advance.
