Tennor stood t the openeing to the bookshop he worked at.
Another day among the greats.
He scanned the shelves for something to read, eventually settling on a Dickens as he waited for the first customer.

Tamitha walked into the bookstore, looking for a book report book. She scanned the shelf under the P's for "Pride and Prejudice".

Tennor looked up when he heard the bell ringing, "Morning," he said, "What're you looking for?"

"Pride and Prejudice. I have to do a book report. I have 2 days and I have never read it." As they both reached for it she puled her handaway and stared at hi. She looked away.
"Sorry."

"All right," he said, "But... youa re aware that that's a practical joke, right? We put them by author, not title. Go look in the A's for Austen."

"Ok." She said feeling embarresed. She walked over, but the book wasn't there.

Tennor looked and frowned, "I think we may have it in storage..." he went into the back room.

She waited paitiently

Tennor came out with a book.

"Thanks."

He passed it over, "12.99," he said.

"Can't I just rent it?" She asked.

"Thta would makee the price go down," he said, "2.99 a night."
(I don't know how to price these...)

"Yeah I'll rent it, 4 nights.""

Tennor nodded, "Four nights it is."

She paid for the book and left. She looked back at the boy.
"What did you say your name was. Dane?"

"Dean," he said, "And I hope to see you around soon."

"Sure, sure."

She came back the next day, with the book in hand.

Dean looked up, "Back already?"

"I couldn't put it down, it's amazing."

Dean smiled, "Wanna check it back in then?"

"Yes." ((BRB)) About 5 min.

Dean got behind the counter.

I'm back

And I'm brbing.

She handed him the book.

Dean checked in the book, "Anything you wanna check out?"

"Nah, I'm good."

((Waiting for you to make the frist move. Girls can't ask guys out?!?!)) lol

"Hey... want me to buy you lunch or somthing? We don't have many customers ad each one is appreciated," it was true, but he had other reasons for asking her out.

"Ok" She said. She felt embarresed. She knew what he wanted. (Not in Bed)) lol

Dean nodded, "My shift gets off in an hour. Maybe I could come pick you up then?"

"Ok"

He smiled, "Stick around as long as you want."

She went and looked at some books.

Dean watched her for a little bit before sitting back down in his chair, reading his Dickens.

((lol, that setence didn't sound right at first to me, then I read it again and I got it))

She looked back at him.
"Little early to be reading "Christmas Carol", isn't it?" She teased.

He shrugged, "Classic literature."

"Let's go, are you ready?" She asked.

Dean checked his watch, "Looks so. What do you feel like?"

"Anything but Mexican." Shesaid.

Dean smiled, "So... if we want food, McDOnalds wo't work..."

"Why?"

"It's McDonalsds," he said, "Any questions? Anyway... how about some pizza? You feel like some?"

"Sure, whatever." She said in a sassyy, unitrested tone.

Dean shrugged, "You don't care, do you?"

"No, not really, I probably won't eat."

Dean shrugged, "Then do you just want to go do something?" he was being hopeful.

"Sure, whatever."
