Met Hampton Sides at the Tony Hillerman Writers Conference in Santa Fe this week. Great guy and excellent speaker. Bought his Ghost Soldiers. Would love to get your recommendations of any of his other books.

I've read everything Sides has written; he is superb. Ghost Soldiers was compelling read. His books Blood and Thunder: An Epic of the American West and Hellhound on His Trail: The Stalking of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the International Hunt for His Assassin are spellbinding. They really pull you into the very heart of the time and place and characters
If you enjoy
Ghost Soldiers: The Epic Account of World War II's Greatest Rescue Mission another great book along that line is
Share of Honor by Ralph Graves (no photo available).
